Anything worth putting together or just sell as bulk? Found in a large lot...

There's lots of other mixed up stuff in there, I'm seeing an Ice Dragon head from Ninjago, 7168 Dunca Bulk's head, 2144 Nex 3.0's head etc. It'd be worth it to check out if you have any more by looking up their masks (that's the easiest way to go probably) on Brickset: http://www.brickset.com/browse/themes/?theme=Hero%20Factory. The first row first guy looks like Bionicle, I'll keep digging.

That is all I could find. Looks like there is a lot of random parts, and there could be some sets that you can make with those parts.

You guys are always crazy fast... I tried looking some of these up the other day and literally got lost and annoyed within minutes of looking up the first one.

 

Now... is it worth taking the time and going through them? Or should I just list the whole ~5 lb lot as one? Not sure what bulk lots for Bionicle/Hero go for.

Judging by the first four results I got on eBay, not that much. I would say as a rule, if you can complete a figure, sell it as a figure. Even if you are making 10 bucks each it is a lot more than you will get from selling them as a bulk lot.

That's been my research as well. I'll throw them in a tote and get to sorting when I can... putting these together doesn't seem as enjoyable as the regular LEGO sets.

My tip - list it as bulk but include the set numbers for the ones you have identified. I just did this with a 12 lb lot I got for $20, I had no clue if anything would be complete, I posted it with the set number for the biggest one I could identify. I was hoping to get at least $50, sold for $81 in a 5 day auction. I had over 300 views and 30 watchers - people like this stuff apparently.

 

So bottom line, just depends on the opportunity cost, this as easier for me, maybe I sacrificed $20 but for the amount of time I would have had to put in to get it this was easier and worth it.

Eightbrick is very fast at this. I think it would be worth it to go through the lot to see if there are any valuable sets in there.
