Yes. :-)

There's no one right answer - are you talking about for your personal collection? For investing purposes?

For investing, the "right" time to buy is usually when the price on a given set goes as low as it's going to go, preferably near the end of it's life cycle just before Lego retires it forever.

None of us know exactly when that "right" time is. So, we do our research and make our best guesses.

There are some great discounts now, there will be some great discounts after Christmas, and there will be some great discounts every week of every month of every year, one place or another.

Decide what you want to buy, ask some specific questions, go from there.

And: welcome. :-)

Welcome, chanee86.

I am wondering would it's be suitable to buy Lego right now since discount it's all over the place, or after Christmas ?

Going with Justafrog, there really is not an easy "yes or no" answer. There are some really good sales going on now and while there usually are some potentially better ones after the holidays there is no guarantee on that (or should I say a guarantee anything will be left by then). It mainly depends on your area and how well Lego sells as is. I'm lucky to see anything reach 30% off so anything close to that is typically my buy point but I know how things usually are in my area which is fine for me but possibly not for someone else.

I can only suggest on understanding all the major retailers around you and try to remember what the sales look like at different points of the year. It is essentially homework but like any good hunter, the more you know the lay of the land, the better of a hunter you will be.

BUY ALL THE LEGOS!!!

Welcome...I wouldn't back up the truck all at once. Just try scaling in little by little and dollar cost average into what sets you want to buy. It's awesome that a lot of sets are 25% off but it's can go down to 30% 40% or even 50%. I wouldn't jump in and buy all 20 sets all at once if that's your optimal number you want and buy 4 or 5 instead. You want to have enough liquidity if there are better deals out there.
