keverjeroen
Hi, I'm Jeroen (For the English speaking people, announce it as Jeroon.. ) and live in Utrecht, thats a big city in The Netherlands, and that's a small country in Europe. You know, windmills, red light district, wooden shoes, and the old prime minister looks like Harry Potter.. I was a big Lego fan from 1981 untill 1992, but then it was time to go to the high school (or what's it named) at an age of 11 and all the Lego disappeared in boxes. I had entered my dark ages.. But, back in 2008 I saw the light again and bought the Lego Beetle (10187), later the T1 Van (10220). About a year ago I found my old Lego and started te build it all! I have all the instruction books and a lot of cut out parts from the boxes. Never taught about Lego as an investing, until I discovered Brick pickers. And now I am on Prickpicker.com every day. Checking the discounts, reading the blogs and watching the videos. At the moment I don't have the money to buy 10 big sets at once and keep them locked away for a couple of years, so I want to start small. What seems to work for me is buying at sales and sell them at market prices. Hop to learn a lot of you all! Grt Jeroen

Bernard74
Nogmaals welkom, Jeroen! Please tell how the quick-flipping strategy is working out for you. I myself have only bought sets with the intention of hanging on them until after retirement. I have yet to sell a single set, but I do have a couple that have risen in value rather nicely. From the Hague myself, by the way.
