Anyone know what the August VIP early access set is? I'm hanging out for the bucket wheel beast.

Ohhh i am waiting for that beast as well. But on the technic forum thread someone told me that it is a flagship set but does not mean it is an exclusive so it doesn't appear as a VIP early access set? Not sure but if the person is wrong....all the better for us?

A little off topic, but anyone think this could even possibly be a legitimate steal? For 60 bucks, I couldn't resist (despite being 99% sure it's fake). I've been burned by false Death Stars before, so I'm ready for whatever comes. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/172285429858

'Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice. Shame on me.'

Perhaps you will get a Death Star, but a Lepin one.

It's a scam mate. In 6 weeks time you will receive a memory card of hair tie or something.

I been there. :(

I expect it to be as much, same happened to be maybe 3-4 years ago and after 3-4 months I got a tiny as box. Got my money back though. That's the thing I don't get- why try and scam when a) it's so obvious and b)I can get my money back in a heartbeat? I'm even more certain its fake now as he relisted it word for word, identical pics, and it sold already. Gonna keep watching until it gets relisted so I can report it as a duplicate posting and shut him down ASAP.

Already did. To make matters worse, I found out I could check his sold listings history- sold over 15 in a week. I called eBay and they won't touch the guy for a MONTH until I have "proof" it didn't arrive. They won't suspend his account or anything in the mean time, only "monitor" it. They've assured me I'll get my money back if it doesn't come, which I already knew. So I gave him a spraying in an email and left negative feedback containing instructions for other prospective buyers. If any come up I'm gonna buy them again, and do the same thing. He only has 20 feedback so a single negative is a big hit. Hopefully it helps people get the message.

These are hacked legitimate accounts. They are dormant and are picked up by scammers typically from Russia or China which use burn-able accounts to withdraw serious amounts of cash long before paypal or eBay pick up on their activities.

I have said this before and I will say it again, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is. Taking a punt on the legitimacy of the listing will in-turn hurt us as Paypal will increase their fees to cover these types of fraudulent transactions.

I'm guessing the mid August VIP early release is going to be the Disney Castle given the Sep 1st date listed for everyone to buy from LEGO Shop at Home
