It's better to get the Creator Sydney Opera House 10234. it's more details and when you finish build it, you will realise it's really worth every penny. Quote

ykusnadi Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 My mistake I put the wrong number in. It was the 10234 I was looking for opinions on IMHO it's really good, very detail and huge. Must have lego for Australian. I bought it when it's 20% off discount. I also wondering what other peoples opinion if the Sydney Opera House 10234 good for investment as well Quote
legoaddiction Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Although it's nice I don't like it. Landscape is too bland. Not much happening and no trees. For the price I rather get a grand emporium. That's my opinion anyway Quote
mooscar618 Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 I got one pirate ship ambush for $88 today from big w. Think it is a good price. Sent from my iPad using Brickpicker Quote
Simbon2009 Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 This has been rather quiet lately... Has anybody been finding any good deals? Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Quote
Jules_K Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 There's currently 20% off at Toys R Us... that's about all I can see at the moment though! It would be good to keep this updated if anyone sees anything though. :-) Quote
TheDarkness Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Not many great deals floating around right now but next month things should pick up again Quote
ErevisCale Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 I've just heard that 7965 - Millenium Falcon is being re-released as a Myer only exclusive. Considering that it will probably be around the $250 mark, would it better to grab the GE instead? Quote
Bosstransam Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 I don't think the MF is going anywhere but the GE will... Trust your feelings!!! Quote
Jules_K Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 The only place to get GE in Australia is from Lego Shop @ Home for $249, and it's not going to ever get any cheaper here unfortunately. If you want GE you really need to get it now. As of today you can get the MF for AU$170 inc. postage from Amazon, which is much cheaper than anywhere in Australia. I think GE is the much better buy even given the high AU$ price. Quote
kishidan69 Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 The Simpsons House at Target online for $263.30. Enter code "Tenoff" at checkout to get a further 10% off. Free delivery as well. This may currently be the cheapest price in OZ. Quote

kishidan69 Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 Did you see this online? It says "Currently unavailable online. Sold in stores." for me. I don't know when it became live - saw it by chance, got mine, posted here straight after seeing it, checked back in about 15 minutes - unavailable online. Quote

Jules_K Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 Strangely...now the listing is completely gone Wow you're right. Funny you can still view it here: http://www.target.com.au/p/lego-reg-the-simpsons-trade-house-71-6/55903196 But when you try searching for it you get nothing. Anyway that's a great deal you got yourself there, nice find! Quote
ykusnadi Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Lego technic cargo plane 42025 is $143.20 at Target. In store today only. Check your local target if they have the stocks. Not all stores carry this one. Quote
Jules_K Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Lone Ranger 50% off at DJs I take it this is in-store only? What sets did you see available? Quote
kishidan69 Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 For those who missed out on the Simpsons House at a discount, Kmart have them at $259 online (12.45pm AEST as I write this). Not sure how long it will last, better be quick if you want one. Quote
Out of the Dark Years Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Target Australia is gearing up for a big toy sale and some exclusive lego items that are very hard to find in Australia at the moment. Ewok Village ($389) & UCS R2-D2 ($249) are appearing in stores now at full Lego LEGO Shop at Home RRP as noted in brackets. Some stores already have them and no-one is sure if they will be discounted in the sale or not. And all stores seem to be expanding their lego stock right now. Online the sale is starting early I think around 18th July and in store the sale will start 23rd July. Good luck and happy hunting 1 Quote
Ted Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 I haven't seen R2D2 for quite a while now. But you may be right as I caught sight of a huge pile of them in target carousel, around 20 of them. Quote
Ted Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Not sure about the Ewok Village. You seen them in person? Quote
Out of the Dark Years Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Yep i bought an Ewok Village from target early this week and I couldn't resist once i saw it. Saw a post on another forum that a store had quite a few, but by the time i got there there was only three on the shelf so I bought one. Went again for something else on Friday and thought I'd check what they had left and they were all gone. Maybe they're hiding them out the back now? If they're gone the target website may be the only option. Quote
