Alucard1982
Looks like Target has started putting out EVs, Tie Fighters and TumblersWho knows if any will be left when the sale starts in a few weeks I heard that from a few people now, I haven't seen the catalogue but are we 100% sure that they will appear within the pages. If I was target I would happily sell the sets at full RRP opposed to toy sale prices as there seems to be a high enough demand at this price point. Having said that, if they do print and don't have enough stock, then they will be legally leaving themselves open to the ACCC which we all know does nothing. If everyone is worried about them, lay-by what you want, and cancel when the sale has commenced.
JeffProbst
From the pics on the FB page, Melbourne CBD Target seem to have a pretty healthy amount.A lot of wallets would have taken a hit from the recent sales, so they might last a while. Hoping for one of each but would be satisfied with one EV

Hoping for one of each but would be satisfied with one EV Yeah I've seen the pics, still makes me disgruntled at the lack initiative of the people moaning about not being able to nab one when the sale starts :) Costco have a few sets that are marginally cheaper than Big W. Picked up a couple of the RRP $29.99 city sets for $19.50 and the demo site for $67.xx. Happy with those as I normally grab a couple of each when I go to Big W. They will fly at Christmas. fahadshahid
I've read in one of the technic threads that the release date for the new 42043 is 1st August. But there is no such indication on australian LEGO Shop at Home. Is this just another instance of us getting screwed down here while the rest of the world enjoys the latest technic flagship? JeffProbst
Pleased to find a Raptor Escape out in the wild today at 20% off. The Jurassic World sets seem to be quite popular at the moment. Kids love dinosaurs and I can't speak for all AFOLs, but I know that I grabbed a few for personal use the day after seeing the movie. Target only has three of the sets in stock (online/ebay) at the moment and I imagine that they will go fairly quickly once the sale starts next Friday. Grolim
Here's an Aussie release schedule based on the latest catalogue. Not sure how valid it is, but seems legit.http://jaysbrickblog.com/2015/06/20/australian-lego-release-dates-second-half-2015/#buildable
AFFOL
Hi everyone, I am back. Have read up on the forum and it seems I have missed a lot, I didn't even know the sales were on. Have been diverting income to another cause, however I have had a glimpse of sets online. I dont mind Jurassic world , the mini (wondering if this will be a short release like the town hall), have yet to get a DO to add to my mods. Hope I still can get one. Anyone seen scooby doo?
fahadshahid
Scooby sets will be released in September. The mystery machine followed by the haunted mansion are expected to be the hot sellers

Alucard1982
What are you referring to when you say that you hope you can get one? Most of those sets have only been on the shelf for less than a year so maybe some time yet :)
AFFOL
I was referring to the DO. I would like to get one on sale. I did go down to Big W today. What is up with the lego there? With fresh eyes everything seemed the same old with same old prices. Are they not going to have any exclusives or have I missed? Jurassic world is that exclusive to a particular store for Big W did not have any?

Jurassic world is that exclusive to a particular store for Big W did not have any?Keep an eye on Myer sales as they normally get the DO in, but probably would be best to sit on the computer at the crack of midnight to get one. JW sets were available at all the retailers, with certain ones have exclusive rights to one set or another (I think Myer had Raptor Escape). A target memo has come out advising their stores to remove the SKUs from their computer as LEGO has advised they will not be replenishing stock. This seems to happening a lot more (Hobbit sets), so movie tie-ins, will probably last for the duration of the cinema cycle.
AFFOL
Thanks for the important info, will be trying to get some JW stuff perhaps before I get the DO. I have missed the lego scene. By the way, have you got an idea on the scooby prices? Will be checking target out tom. How did you go with your assignments. Uni back next week :). Scooby Doo won't be seen at retail until September (maybe August for LEGO Shop at Home), I'm not sure of the prices yet. I think you'll be hard pressed finding anything JW related at retail outlets, again LEGO Shop at Home would be your best bet. We've seen a lot of newbies appear since your hiatus, but this is probably a result of the midyear (get rich-quick) flux that normally dies off towards the end of the year. Uni break is awesome, should happen more often!
JeffProbst
Jurassic World sets could do quite well at Christmas, will be monitoring LEGO Shop at Home with interest. Indominus and Dilophosaurus already on backorder
Alucard1982
I think that the Indominus will be the weakest of the line and possibly a bust. My spider senses are tingling with the Raptor escape for some reason
