Buy 2 get 3rd free sale is in full swing at Myer until Sunday.

Loving all these awesome sales, I'm able to get 40.55% off (33.3%+7.5%) when buying 3 of the same items with gift cards :yahoo:

Wonder if David Jones will pircematch the Myer Buy 2 get 3rd free

Awesome, thanks for sharing. Does the 20% off sale still stand aswell?

Might head to my local after work in the hopes that they have minifigures, as they don't have much else.

The lady at the register told me the 20% applied, got home and unfortuetly it didn't go thru! The lady also told me they are having a massive sale in June and are expecting some exclusive sets in.

Er? so you bought some lego at the myer store and she told you it applied but upon reaching home, the receipt show it doesn't apply?

Wow if it does i am going down straight to my local myer. grab myself some good bargains.

Doesn't apply, I was just there. It's 20% off for single or two items otherwise RRP 3-for-2

Yeah she told me it would... Unfortunately it didn't. I have since been to another myer and was told that only one of the offers applies. I have tried getting toys r us to do the same offer but no joy! They had around 10 or 15 ECTO-1's

Unless they manually apply the extra 20% discount Myer registers automatically work out the best deal, so in a b2g1free sale even if you bought 3 pet shop modulars and three road plates you would still get 1 road plate free and one pet shop free regardless of what order they were scanned.

In my experience they have never stacked discounts unless you get really lucky. Most staff at Myer these days are too well trained.

How did everyone go with the myer sale?

I've now run out of the 7.5% off gift cards :ermm:

Only 5% off from now on till another better deal rocks up.

I ended up with a few more 31026 sets to build a modular building with.

Cleaned my two locals out of the latest Mixels (especially Glowkies).

Nothing else worth my time or money.

A kinda like the new pirates sets though, I never had them when I was young and always wanted them.

I'll bet Lego will bring back the blue baseplate in the next 12 months.

I also like the theme, I've picked up more than several Brick Bounties and a couple of the smaller $29 sets for bundles. I can't see them taking off until Christmas.

LF is Ebay correct when it is saying you just sold a Town Hall for $800?! Why would someone pay that when they're available for less than $650?! Ebay is so weird sometimes.

grats on the last TH sale, that was a new world record Price in euros, I think. How many do you have left?

That was the last one I had, so I artificially priced it high so I could maximise growth and not have to worry about listing it again. However, it may be all in vain, as it's a "0" buyer from Korea and they haven't paid yet.

Not fussed either way, but would love for it to go as I desperately need the space, as all my racks are full.

I think I was also the first to crack the $650 + shipping. Sold a GE (500 + P) TH ($650 + P) Family house (130 + P) to a gent in Sydney. So that was a great sale :)

EDIT: Family house was $140

Wow, it's amazing, TH for 800.

I remember a week before Xmas seeing a TH at my local Mr Toys for retail.

Having just come out of my dark age, I admired it, knowing that one day it would be worth a bit. Alas, I was a bit tapped out from Xmas shopping so i passed it up. Little did I know that in no more than 4 months it would appreciate 150%.

I even took a pic of it, which is still on my phone. I'm sure we all have similar regrets.

Like you there are many! But we can see that this set has still been quite hoarded for the life it did have - more and more are coming out of the woodwork in recent days. This  makes me feel pessimistic about PS.

Got a question, how much do  you think a back to the future set with christopher lloyd's signature would be worth, the box is in excellent condition and is complete. Not sealed.

Haven't checked, but are the ones you referring to - the scams?
