Jules_K Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Might be a good time to sell some sets as well, I'm noticing a lot of new "buy it now" listings with reasonable prices trying to take advantage of the discount. Quote

Out of the Dark Years Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Target Australia has extended the Toy Sale to the 10th August 2014. So another 5 days with the 20% off lego. 1 Quote
TheDarkness Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Pity their selection is pretty ordinary though I may be persuaded for another R2 if I see it in store Quote
Out of the Dark Years Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Depends on the Target stores I guess Some have a better range than others although most would be pretty much cleaned out due to the sale. Quote
Out of the Dark Years Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 Online Toys Australia is having 20% off sale on all Lego until Midnight 23rd August 2014. Dvious357 Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 is anyone else having problems buying through amazon export sales as of yesterday (14th august)? I think they've update their polices with lego and we can no longer buy cheap, cheap lego form them anymore Quote
TheDarkness Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Amazon are being douches with their Lego shipping. Just have to ride it out. I laid a complaint last night about it to a support staff member on chat when I was discussing another issue with them. They said they would notify their shipping team about the issue, but whether or not that is followed up is anyone's guess. Quote
Dvious357 Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 im looking into postage forwarding companies atm but seems like it will possibly chew up all the savings of buying with amazon in the first place. ive found a few good deals at amazon.de only a little more then the us amazon. but amazon us is by far cheapest and great range. Do you know of any other good places to buy from?? cheers Quote
TheDarkness Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Mainly those but I wouldn't stress about it. Amazon come and go with how they want to deal with international shipping. Just keep contacting them. Quote
Sparkesy43 Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Ahh the joys of finding ways around the "Australia Tax" Quote
Jules_K Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 That's terrible news from Amazon! Has this happened before from them? Is it likely to be temporary? Quote

particularbrick Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Hmmm, i just emailed Amazon.com about buying a Lego Simpson set and complained about the issue and this is what they wrote back. Hello, I'm sincerely sorry to hear about the problem you had shipping the LEGO Simpsons 71006 The Simpsons House to your address. I checked your account and see that you're planning to purchase this item which is directly being sold and shipped by Amazon.com. I've also verified Amazon.com can't ship the item internationally or to Australia.http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00HX14C7Q/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&colid=3... If international shipping is available for a seller's listing, you'll see "International shipping available" noted in the listing comments. Quote
TheDarkness Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 They say that but for half of them they still say it will ship internationally. Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Quote
