Ted Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 you would expect another toy sale from big w near Xmas..probably November or early December? There is a 50/50 chance of most of the items being 20% off. Quote
Ted Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 Just sort of browsing around the various website. Found out that on the Target website, the big BWE is listed there. No discount yet so it is $399. And i always thought Big W will carry this big Technic set, look like i was wrong. 20% on this is not that difficult to come by so i will just hold my horses, since i want one eventually. Quote

I have seen the BWE at Big W (in QLD) at a couple of stores, think it was priced at $379. Quote
Furious_george Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 While everyone's around, one more question. Are there any rumours/ threads on the next UCS after the Snowspeeder? Quote
Furious_george Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 Interesting. Normally we get rumours of next couple at least. Could indicate something super secret, BIG and MIllenium Falcon shaped. Quote
whoisbiggles Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 has anyone seen this years star wars advent calendar in a B&M store? Quote
Skunk Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Mr Toys has Star Wars advent calendars too. If your in Melbourne shopforme has them. Just been to Myer at Sunshine Plaza (Maroochydore) and they had a stack of Slave I's and a Big Ben (amongst heaps of other sets). 1 Quote
Furious_george Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Disney minifigs officially retired. Let's see where sealed box prices go now. Quote
donbee Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Disney minifigs officially retired. Let's see where sealed box prices go now.Where did you hear that? Quote
Jeffrey_Dollars Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Here at BP. Only reflected on the UK LEGO Shop at Home site as of now I believe Update: I see its retired on the Australian as well, makes me think there will be another run in North America, and I'm pretty sure I heard that's how it would be, from Someone here a while back Quote
Furious_george Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Aussie shop at home says retired product. Quote

Apparently there's some promo minifigs going out each week on a minimum spend http://www.toysrus.com.au/lego-bricktober Quote
Furious_george Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 Myers 20% off just puts them at normal price on a lot of sets. Quote
ED-209 Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 You mean compared to Big W, Kmart and Target? At least they don't charge over retail on any sets like TRU and Toyworld...bastards! Quote
whoisbiggles Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 Yeah, I don't know why toyworld bothers, looked into the doctor strange set, $10 over rrp in qld. What a joke Quote
kurnitb Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 Wow lame offers for the shop @ home lego australia. The eu folks get 3x vip points with 10% discounts where we only get a storm trooper minifig! this is ridiculous. Quote
Ted Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 Is there anything else you willl expect except for a miserable free minifigure with the Rogue Friday? not even a double VIP points for purchasing those new sets. We have it hard over here in Aussie. Quote
Out of the Dark Years Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 It feels like a form of retail racism given just how much we and some other countries miss out on. why not have global offers for everyone? It must be a complicated task managing so many different website offers for different countries. its been a long time since i bothered buying anything from LEGO Shop at Home mainly because the promos have been rubbish lately. 2 Quote
Furious_george Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 (edited) I'm giving up on shop at home. Nothing is exclusive anymore, the giveaways are terrible and Target and Big W stock everything eventually and cheaper. Even shop at home is selling the Porsche now, $50 cheaper than LEGO and shipping doesn't take a month. Dont get me started on sets that JUST WONT DIE ( looking at you mystery mansion). Furious_george Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 Oh and the Sandcrawler is on backorder. Probably means bugger all tho. Quote
kurnitb Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 Has anyone got any pics of how the new UCS snowspeeder would look like? Also when do the big sets come into shops normally? Like I haven't seen the disney castle, or the big ben or the new beetle anywhere. Quote
Furious_george Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 Visualise the original UCS snow speeder in a blinged up box with a shiny gold UCS badge and a mega price tag. Theres the the new Snowspeeder. Quote
