Utilized just sounds whacky to me. What happened to the time honored and simpler word "used?" Don't even get me started on people using the word "impact" like it was a verb. I do know what Google says about its history. I guess it could be accurately used to describe the condition of many lego sets received from Walmart, TRU and Amazon at least.
