they are a reseller aggregator and could potentially have that type of volume to dump however i only see them listing FBM so the stock quantity is pretty meaningless.

i got that many too. yeah right here. lol

spoofing excess available stock quantity is one way to get a buybox, especially on a crowded turd listing which is exactly the type of set revend specializes in given they are the resellers' reseller.  also anyone contemplating sending a big pallet fba of these sets may possibly take a pause to reconsider because not only they going up against revend but all the other undercutters who will be actively trying to make a sale.

sales are down across the board this time of year but more so than than the last 2 years so all levers are being pulled.

Just a theory, but if the legal net is closing in on revend, they may be dumping everything to make a quick escape to Cambodia.

After more than 3 months, I was able to get all of my stock returned.

It took more than a month to get any response at all, after pinging through every contact I had there multiple times.
It then took more than 2 months to have them set up a return. And even at that point I had no idea things were going to come back.
Eventually I had a ****-ton of stuff delivered randomly. I had couple dozen smaller items missing, but I assume they sold and got credited to someone else.... as it wasn't uncommon for me to have random items I never sent in credited to me, so I'll call it a wash. I also had one item returned that I never sent them.

I didn't overdo it there like some people, but still tens of thousands of inventory over the years. 53% was the total lost to fees through them. This includes platform fees, vendor fees, storage, and shipping.

Gross profit after fees was 99.4%, which is nothing to complain about at face value. But while not having control of your stock, many items missed prime selling windows. Looking at my spreadsheets, profit would have been at least 2.5x higher selling on my own, and much higher on a lot of items that missed their big bumps.

I think they had a fine idea that grew too fast because they accepted too many people in before having the logistics figured out. Then moving all the inventory to another state just compounded things and it all collapsed from there.

Curious how Amzn forecast their warehouse capacity going forward.  Catch 22 with the way US economy is heading

Placed a $35.64 order free shipping with Target. They offered a $1 discount to combine shipments, then proceeded to charge me $5.99 shipping as my total was now less that $35.

So I was going to put this in the "What Lego set did you build today" thread but since the build is on hold I decided to make a bigger complaint thread post about Stickers.

I was building 76271 Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City. I purchased it to build because I like the 3D art sets and had pre-sold the minifgures for over half of the set cost to help offset this extremely overpriced set at $300.

So, back to "why for such an expensive set can't they all be prints?" argument to which Lego replies that their is a cost per set formula based on how many sets they expect to produce/sell, the number of unique elements and other factors that determine whether it will be prints or stickers. So a $30 Creator set will get all printed parts because it will sell 10 Million copies while this set at $300 would need to sell 1 Million copies to get all prints but say it will only sell 500K so it gets stickers. Seeing what Pantasy is doing, I know @Captain_Obvious there he goes pumping his other side hustle, with all printed elements, Lego can afford to do the same as well or perhaps come up with some alternative option like Jang suggests in the YouTube clip. For the Premium price we are now paying for these Adult sets they should at least get the stickers right and they continue to not.

Gringotts Wizarding Bank – Collectors' Edition: the stickers are abysmal especially for a $429 "Collectors' Edition" the off-center Name Plate that you have to cut yourself or display as is, is a major fail.

The Orient Express Train: $299 and the stickers were the wrong color, yellow instead of gold, and had misspellings of cities. So you had to get a replacement set.

Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City: $299 has 67 stickers and besides being off-center the color on the initial production run was either off or they ran out of ink. See the pictures of what was sent out light grey compared to how they should look, Black. I contacted Lego and of course they are out of the updated stickers but should have more within a month so hopefully I can get back to the build.

Finally, BMW M4 GT3 & BMW M Hybrid V8 Race Cars, see Jang clip for more, but the SC product line lead designer stated previously that they learned their lesson from the Toyota Supra with doing stickered elements across 3 parts and would switch to prints the following year which they did, but now are back to stickers some that have to be aligned across all 8 studs of the build.

Come on Lego you need to up your sticker game for the price of these sets.

One last thing, if you are still with me, just an FYI they changed the piece count on Cherry Blossoms from 438 to 430, but it has no stickers ;)

13:10 for a good alternative sticker option:

Seeing what Pantasy is doing

I just built the Pantasy Bakery and was blown away by their presentation of parts, including, not a single sticker.  All tran-clear windows in a separate bag, numerous printed tiles, quality of the pieces, etc.  All that I could think of was "LEGO had better watch their ass!"  It was a truly enjoyable build with parts that, while not perfect, was about as close to LEGO-quality that you could get.  And this modular cost $82 compared to a $240 LEGO one.  (I added the MILS plate - it's LEGO.)

Have you seen my posts on this set in the "Fake Counterfeit" thread? I see you did a Mils plate so it fits in better with their thicker baseplate? I was looking into Pantasy some more on their official website and see the Bakery is marked as Sold Out but still available on Amazon, not sure if they will be making more. I also saw they have the exclusive licensee for Kung Fu Panda new movie but will pass on all of those sets, but they are doing a Boeing 787 that looks good for what will probably only be around $50 on Amazon when it comes out.

I didn't use their baseplate.  I just built the Bakery on top of a standard LEGO MILS plate.  If I recall, the top plates were 16x32s.

It kinda destroys the entire black box look. All of mine are 1st generation boxes easily worth an extra $1 unless AMZ decides you can’t sell them sans warning label. Maybe Lego will provide sellers with stickers if you call 😝

yeah it seems scaled to the box size as well,  saw the phone booth and snow white and they were smaller to scale of the box I guess.

Home Alone seems really large.

Imagine completely shitting on the history of Major League Baseball and including stats for players that never played in the league.
Might as well add little league stats, college stats, and f-ck it, why not fantasy stats? We're all equal!!!
