Must be a different model, doesn't look like you can remove the clothes on that one.

That was a nice trip down memory lane.  So many old members we haven't heard from in a long time.

I just realized I've been coming here for seven years now; time flies.

I’m sorry but eBay managed payments doubling any return amount as negative twice the return value is beyond ludicrous. Just had to refund a buyer who, told me in messages they had a history of illegal drug use, demanded I give them the item for 75% off after the sale, told me I better acquiesce to their demand because they had already made another seller give into their demand already and eBay always sides with the buyer, told me they were going to make me pay and teach me a lesson, and said I purposely tried to cheat them by sending them a new and sealed Lego set that I somehow knew had broken pieces inside. Cause ya I can look inside and see Schrödinger’s cat is alive and well too. I have all of this on eBay messages!

When I spoke with a foreign based trust and safety rep they were unable to understand until I explained in painful detail why I was being extorted to issue the full refund out of fear of having a non-reality based illegal drug user who now knows my name and address who if not refunded would do who knows what.

Ya this is where eBay is at, I’m pretty sure this is as bad as anyone has ever seen and if eBay won’t side with me in this case they will never do anything for any seller ever.

Ummm, yeah….we’re all going to need that buyer’s ID so we can add it to our blocked buyer list, mmmmkay?

Please PM if you’re not comfortable posting it in the forum. That’s crazy. giphy.gif

Ya it really was the worst I have seen, the interesting part is they seemed like a decent person at first which is why I messaged them enough for them share their past, and until they started demanding the discount I was totally not judging them for their past, after the demands started it just got to sketchy. Oh ya and the item they were telling me they got the other seller to give them at a huge discount shows up as an item or the exact same set that they sold on eBay in their recent sold items. Unbelievable that eBay will do nothing for sellers. Now that said they are not a total scammer because they did send back the item with the opened box but all the bags still sealed but now at least 5 of the bags have broken pieces they broke in order to have pictures to take to force the return. So I just don’t get their deal, and glad it’s over and is a set at least my wife would like to build, after I wash and sanitize the crap out of the pieces of course.

In short, we can blame Mastercard and Visa for being a bunch of p*****s.

Rejoice!! (Or Boo!!..  depending on your stances*) They did not go through with the bans.

Also, Mastercard released statement they did not put any pressure on OF.

OnlyFans saying the planned changes have been "suspended" implies the situation may return at a later date. I suppose in today's age such a possibility is a given considering the stigma for the industry in question. Some of the flak towards the sex industry in general has been deserved for the poor working conditions and abuse in the 'professional' sectors of the past. However with efforts such as those from federally recognized union the Adult Performance Artists Guild (APAG), the environment is becoming healthier and safer than what it was than even a few years ago with something as simple as a performer consent checklist and a "on set stewards program". (In short promoting consensual only.)

Anyway if there was not any actual pressure from the banks then I wonder if CEO Tim Stokely overreacted to the coming changes the payments network are set to bring regarding adult merchants this October 1st. There is also the chance this was a weird publicity stunt even if the OnlyFans website had already increased in popularity due to COVID. Either way this did bring attention to the planned stricter rule changes whatever those all entail.
