Soooo I was tidying up the garage yesterday when I noticed something-  In a stack of my ready-to-ship packaged sets there were a series of symmetrical semi-rectangular holes punched in one of the cardboard boxes. Apparently, my 6-year old had been experimenting with a typical claw-style hammer.  However, instead of using it to pound or pull at any other random object in the universe he wondered what would happen if the claw side was swung into a stack of cardboard boxes.  I am now the proud owner of an "excellent condition, NIB, ready-to-ship" Grand Emporium... full of holes.  oh kids! Gotta love 'em!

In his defense he was completely honest and sincerely apologetic. Great kid.

I did have to ask him "why didn't you smash the next box down? This Arkham asylum breakout?"

What about the box of Exo-Suits :D

A bomb goes off in NYC and the mainstream media pounces on Trump for calling it a bomb. Nice way to deflect. SMFH. emoji849.png

And blasio calling it "not terrorism ". Because obviously explosive devices are all around NYC and explode by accident occasionally....

Terrorism by definition needs to have a political aspect to it . It ain't about just bombs going off

This wasn't terror. Someone just happened to throw away a pressure cooker and C4 at the same time.

24 hours later...NYC Mayor Bill DeBlasio now says they have "every reason" to believe NY and NJ bombings were an "act of terror" No Sh!t Sherlock!

I've read that the 5 detained on the bridge had an SUV full of a weapons cache. Haven't heard much more on this though. Maybe a cell..

These riots, I know they're calling them protests but a guy just shot another guy so, it's not a protest to me, are absolutely ridiculous. Looting does not a protest make either.

I'm so glad people are finding out that "70% of the arrested protestors have out of state IDs." Now they need to ask who's been funding shipping these people in. I won't post the answer.

As a New Yorker who lives 20 minutes away from the nightmare of 911 ( i.e. The city) semantics don't really matter. This is way too close to home and is becoming more common.

I live in the heart of Paris where we just had a pretty bad terrorist attack a few blocks away from my house about a nine months ago. I get the nervousness of living in a city that is always on the "target" radar, but for my fellow Americans living back in the land of red, white, blue and awesome Lego discounts, I try to remind them of one sobering fact: Including the 9/11 attacks in 2001, from then until now, a little over 3,000 Americans have died at the hands of a terrorist attack, and this includes attacks on foreigns soil (like in Libya). Whereas... your garden-variety firearm has killed over 400,000 Americans in that same span.

Though approx 60% were suicides.
