anytime I hear once tagged on the end, I go straight to Johnny Dangerously. Great movie.

Got the below offer from a buyer.

Quote:

Hi I'm interested in your set. I offer you 120e because I can get one from amazon with free shipping for 140e. Your listed price of 150e is too high.

Seriously I wonder what go through this people brain with this kind of attitude hoping I would sell.

I've got a friend who gets away with this almost all the time. He once managed to get something for free that was initially offered for €20.

My complaint today:  I thought I had ordered all the right parts for the GE that I found in a bulk lot (it was missing about 25% of the parts).  I was ready to start building it this weekend.  Only to discover that I had some old gray mixed in with the parts.  So, re inventory the set shows I'm missing 13 parts.  Argh.

Getting a daily "Please come back - here's 10% back in points on items left in your shopping cart" email from KMart.com with in the fine print "Will only be awarded once per account" .....

When I won a small lot consisted of some items I wanted for good price on eBay... only to find a bigger lot with everything I wanted (ie. what I won the other day + more) for very reasonable price a couple of days later :drag:

Moral of the story, buy and don't look back.

The first auction did not have everything I wanted, so I continued looking for the rest of stuffs from my list..

There were so few listings of these items last week, today all sorts of listings were popping up :w00t::drag:

Not much of a complaint as a mini rant.

People who mail me to tell me the MRSP of a retired set and that I should give them a deal... I try to be as civil as possible  :tommy:

Ask them to contact the manufacturer and ask if they could buy the item from them instead.

Back on topic- I know that the imperial flagship is one of the most epic Lego ships made- but for an investor/non builder, it's a bi**ch to build from bulk! I know I'll love the end result though.

Guy I bought it from sold me a bunch of bulk and partial sets, and kept all the minifigures to resell later- I'm happy to have gotten what I did.,But am missing those minifigs- 250 of them. Anyone bid on that listing- the one mislabeled haunted house when it was actually a GG. The listing title was something like 250 minifigures 120lbs Lego and haunted house.
He was suspended and couldn't actually go through with the sale.
