Bought a used set on eBay, and wondered why the seller doesn't upload a tracking number. Now I see in the details that the Economy Shipping he selected is really USPS Media Mail. For 6lb of Lego. Really? I just hope the PO isn't going to inspect that package, or I have to deal with a postage due case. Estimated delivery in about a week. We shall see. Any experience with cases like this?

Bought 3lb lot on ebay and the seller shipped it first class with a weight of 5oz. Got a postage due notice. Seller refunded me cost of extra postage. It was an "honest mistake". Ok sure.

I'm a little disgusted knowing that a good percentage of EBay members who sell loose LEGO must live in an environment that smells like cigarette smoke mixed in with Brut/Old Spice.

no you're not, it brings you back to this guy

Since we're on the topic of megablocks

While sorting through a 15 lb lot, my 4 yr old and I came across some mega-block minifigures (megafigures?).  Having never seen one before my son was intrigued by them.  After a 15 minute study, he concluded that the megafigures were superior to the lego minifigures.  Now I fear I may have to follow up this post with another complaint a month from now....when he asks for a mega block set for christmas.

This seems as good a thread as any to post this. I came across this article and though it might be good to share especially with holiday shopping coming up. I used to live in the country on a dead-end road and never really worried about packages being stolen, but now I live in the city and I feel like I need a giant locking mailbox.

You can always change the TIP to $0 or other amount.  I didn't tip my guy, it was actually an ontrac guy that delivered my prime now package.

WHAT'S up with TIP ? .. since when and why ? ...

I guess because Prime Now is set up more like Postmates, but for some stuff Amazon sells. Instead of OnTrac, UPS, or Fedex delivering your package, it's some guy in his car or on his bike with an app.

People creating double standards for this service. Now they all gonna expect a tip to do their job.

Most likely a tip is what they are counting on to help pay the bills.  Ever think of that?  Anyone who has ever worked a tip job should understand.  I work a tip job and my employer pays about 25% of my income while my tips account for 75%.

I think most conservatives would tell you to pull up your bootstraps and get a better job or something.

if you need a tip get a new job. there are no tips in EU and south of US and somehow everyone gets by on wages. tips are just for aholes running the businesses to pocket more money and NOT pay their employees

That's my point exactly, people are expecting to receive tips to do their own job. We already paid for our service so why should we pay again just because the worker was showing up and doing his job? Don't like being not tipped? Don't work on that job, find another job. It's their job to do their job, so don't expect a tip. Look at all the countries all over the world, most of them don't tip and they provide EXCELLENT service. You get paid for your hard work and effort while people here provide crappy customer service and still expect you to tip them 15-20%.

not a conservative by any means, just had to struggle to get ahead and not very tolerant of people complaining how hard their lives are. if youre in a rot, change it.

It's one thing if you are a waiter and you are getting $3/hr or whatever but I am pretty sure there is no delivery diver legally making under minimum wage.

Gents - tips in the form of $ for doing a great job are not daily deals. Tips in this thread should be in the form of sales! ;)

Or feel free to take it to the complaint thread, perfect place for this discussion!
