When you offer something to someone for what you paid for it (after being asked for a favor), 50% off retail, you give them the price plus shipping.  They think about it and come back with, "I guess that's fair".

Ungrateful bas___!

Getting a new computer at work, and now all of my websites don't work.

(Basically, the form submit button in IE 11 isn't working...it seems to be either a coding issue or a Javascript issue, but security policies don't let me do anything to fix it; oh and it works on my coworkers machines, and oh, it's also my time card system)

Damn near slicing the top of your index finger cutting card for packaging.

One of those paper cutters with the big arm that slices down - like your teacher had in grade school. Best $20 I ever spent for saving myself time and headaches in my packaging/shipping process!

You would think adding a couple days to a date in javascript would be easy, but it's not. Screw you javascript and you're complicated mess of a Date class.

My next post will be about calculating the number of non-weekend days between two dates. Another big ole bite me to that one.

A buyer wants shipping + tracking. He chooses to drop the tracking because it's too expensive.

I send an invoice.

He changes his mind and wants tracking after all.

I send a new invoice.

He wants to add another item to his order.

I explain how to do this and send a new invoice.

He waits a day and cancels the order.

Aaaargh!!!

lately (bout 2 weeks) every other thread seems to be going down hill.  This site has been an excellent source for everything LEGO, if people don't like how its run start up your own site.  basically wishing some kids would take their ball and go home.

Someone from the US just bought a 45€ set at my bricklink store. The same set is listed for 47.92€ (converted from $) by a Canadian seller... Why do they buy from me?

Maybe they hate Canadians?

no. may be you have a better feedback score.

other reason may be the shipping costs [ my personal experience has been cheaper to order item from europe vs. north america ]

Hmm, is this really a complaint or...?

Yeah because they have 0 feedback, so I think they just picked the lowest price without looking at shipping costs. I don't expect them to pay.

I don't list shipping costs because they vary too much. I put "contact me for a shipping quote" in the item comments, but they just bought the item without contacting.
