It was 93 degrees today... in fricking middle of February! When I was a kid I remember there being frost on the grass in the morning in February here in SoCal. It's not global warming, it's just SoCal warming. Now apparently the El Niño is so big and massive that it's not supposed to rain anymore this year. Look out Pacific NW BPers, I'm moving North! Not only do I have to enter my credentials multiple times when I go from my surprise point overview to actually see the contents of my cart (every time), trying to then checkout results in yet another "member login", which doesn't even work (entered data correctly, but nothing happens when I try to go on from there - no error, nothing). Who develops a website like that? I tend to not try because several times in the past, they sent me the wrong item. To make it worse, the incorrect items that I received were completely crushed. To make it even worse, the items that they sent were not on the enclosed shipping label and there was no store receipt, so I had a giant hassle returning them to K-Mart. After 30 minutes on the phone, I will get my correct parts in 7 to 10 business days and can keep the 7 random parts too (twirling my finger in a fake excited gesture). The 3 Lego sets have been "out for delivery" to a POBox since the 8th of February. Haven't heard from the buyer yet. I'm hoping that it was delivered but not marked. Sounds like you have the same as I am witnessing. Package was supposed to be delivered on Feb 1st, status was "Out for Delivery" and then changed to "Delivery status not updated". Yeah 3 degrees F does suck but you East coast guys will have some nice weather sometime. This drought in the West is making this once beautiful place becoming increasingly meh. I lived here my whole life and I don't remember sweating my a$$ off in February . It feels like I'm living in Dubai now. Yeah that one week of rain we had is making all these desert bushes go nuts and allergy season is going to be horrible. I had a dog who was so 'prissy' when it rained and the grass was a little damp. Heaven forbid she get her paws wet. She appreciated them but didn't really admire the quality or presentation. It was more about the "thought that counts". Cliché, but true. So I slowly started to buy less expensive flowers over the years. This year I picked up a random bouquet/ assortment at "that Midwest store". It seems silly to me to spend excessive amounts on consumables, but I'm poor frugal. I actually have not celebrated Valentine's Day as anything significant since before I was married. I know there are people out there who need VD to show SO's how much heshe cares, but I am adored every day. My husband cleans the kitchen. Flowers don't clean the kitchen.
