It makes sense that Camper is ready for the ol' retirement home now that Mr. Cooper has arrived in town.

It made sense for the Tower Bridge to retire once the Opera House arrived but here we are.

I expect to be holding mine for quite a while after EOL, but I don't mind that. I've only got half a dozen though I'll probably pick up a few more when the time is right.

This set will be in high demand for years, especially in the EU. No doubt about it.

I was at my Lego store this morning and noticed a fresh batch of these on the shelves. Seal code was 36R4 I believe, so apparently a pretty recent run.

That's very recent. I think that means that batch was produced in mid to late August.

I think many folks expected another run, especially since they had a Sept. 5 delivery date tagged to the listing at S@H. It will be interesting to see if they show up at other retailers, or if they go out of stock on S@H.

My sources say it was always crazy to think Pet Shop was going either before or at the same time as GE.  As for the Camper Van, they say it's EOL, since the Mini Cooper thinks it's too cool to be seen in the same catalog with a VW.

This set will NOT retire this year, neither will the Pet Shop.

SSD and GE will though. Please don't ask for my source.

Who is your source?

????

Actually, I already know as I snapped a photo of the 3 of you. He's the one to the left in the dark (no pun)

I'm going to guess there will be many investors with 100+ on this set

I think you are almost right Crusty. Alot of people have it stocked up. That is why I stick to my 4. Only if at deep discount I will buy more of these. But for sure not at RRP.
