shizzybond Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 I just brought these for $200 did I get a good deal fellow brickpickers.... Quote
Guest eightbrick Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 It looks like you blew it outta the park. That looks like at least 400 USD worth of stuff. Not sure about the investment potential of that Chima Temple (it's probably safe but I don't know much about the theme) but the rest are definitely solid picks. In five years I wouldn't be surprised if that lot was worth 800 (maybe even the big 1 k? ) Well done! Quote
binici Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Wow, that looks awesome! Are you tempted to build any? Quote
DoNotInsertIntoMouth Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Sealed? Thats terrible. You should sell it to me for 200 - get your money back. Serious - great awesome deal. Nothing to worry about. Quote

Diabolos80 Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Nice score, but you know half of us are thinking those are stolen. Does the seller live near a walmart? lol no worries man, probably it's legit. I see a Treehouse down there That's one my 3 favorite 2013 sets. Quote
Guest TabbyBoy Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Well done! I'd put the Chima in the trash where it belongs and double my money on the rest. Quote
sadowsk1 Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 It looks like you shot first and asked questions later. At least you got a good deal and don't have to suffer from buyers remorse. Quote

jeff_14 Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 I don't understand why anyone would sell these sets for so little. They must be losing money. Quote
hepcatpunk Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 I don't understand why anyone would sell these sets for so little. They must be losing money. If they paid $0 for them, then hard to lose $. No one would sell them for that little if they were legitimately obtained...they'd take them back to the store and get their $ back or get store credit. Quote

They are all sets released in the past 18 months, most in the last 6 months. Did somebody get a load of lego for their birthday and decide they don't want them? I have difficulty imagining anyone obtaining those sets legitimately at $200 or less. Quote

You know some people steal right? I guess that is EXACTLY how you pay 0$ for it 1 Quote

I'm saying they paid nothing for them...they're stolen. Even a half-wit parent would know to take them back to a store if they were birthday gifts. 1 Quote
