TheDarkness Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 How often is something Sold Out and it makes a return? Or does that mean completely gone? Quote
MartinP Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 How often is something Sold Out and it makes a return? Or does that mean completely gone? It all depends on the set and the location. Some sets make a comeback in popular selling countries like the UK, USA, etc. Quote
TheOrcKing Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 How often is something Sold Out and it makes a return? Or does that mean completely gone?I have seen a couple of items that "Sold Out" to then make a comeback like Minifigures Series 9 around the start of the year for example. They sold out with the "Retiring Soon" tag showing and then was "In Stock" some weeks later. Quote
StarPod Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 I feel that any of these Dan pop back in stock at any moment due to returns. The only true retirement is when it's removed from the website Quote
sadowsk1 Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 It's a good list. Time to review and head to the store to fill in the gaps anyone might be missing. Wait now and miss it later. Quote
Anakinisvader Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Thanks for the info. Let the naysayers say what they will...... Quote

Doofy McGee Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 I stocked up on Loki Cosmic Cubes when it showed "Sold Out" and then it went back to "Available Now" after a few days, which is where it is at the time of this writing. I know this is only one example, but it is evidence that shows that "Sold Out" doesn't always mean gone forever. Quote

Doofy McGee Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 How often is something Sold Out and it makes a return? Or does that mean completely gone? It's hard to give any credence to any of these tags. Just the other day, 6858 (Catwoman) actually unretired. You never know what is going to happen. This is being said for probably the millionth time on this site...but if you really want something, find a way to make sure you have your desired quantity of it before it retires or becomes too hard to find. That way you never have to kick yourself for gambling and losing. Quote
