MartinP
I found a person who is selling a Mindstorms NXT 2.0 for $150 used. Just wondering if this is a good deal or not. I think the set is retired and the MSRP of the set is well over $250+. Should I get it. I already have one of these for myself, so this one would be for investing. Looks like all the pieces are there plus some extra ones.
stephen_rockefeller
The problem with investing in the mindstorm sets is that I think you will have a hard time getting the BP price........the software on the older sets is outdated so the people I know are looking to buy the new EV3. If it was for you i would say go for it but to flip I'm not so sure.

If there was no Mindstorms EV3, then I would have flipped it, but since there is, I do not see much profit for me because of all the work of making sure everything is working and if it is not, I would have to sell it as incomplete or try to buy the missing pieces. lego rules
With EV3 it may change things but I have bought and flipped at $150/$260 a few times.
