sadowsk1 Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 I have no experience selling to this person though asking feels like asking to find a needle in a haystack. I have never paid attention to the names I sell to. Quote
Guest TabbyBoy Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 I have no access to eBay right now so, how much does he pay for them? Quote

DoNotInsertIntoMouth Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 It may be another of Mark's accounts. He has several. If he is in the UK, that is probably him. Quote
brickinfinite Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 he bought a total of 10 from me WOW! I wonder what the person intends to do with that many. It's hard to fathom spending that much money once shipping is added. Does UK not have #41999? Quote

Does UK not have #41999? The UK has the 41999. When I hear that a person is trying to get a lot of a certain set (41999), and there is only a limited amount of them (20,000), I think that they are trying to control the market in the future. A lot of these sets have been sold since it was released, after a majority of the sets are sold, they they become harder to find at decent prices. If one person has a lot of these sets, then they can inflate the price because there are so few that are on the market. Quote

However, it's still hard to fathom that someone has that kind of resources to wield a sizeable economy of scale on this set to manipulate the price. Personally, I think investing in equities like mutual funds, stocks, or options with that money might be more fruitful. Quote

I was thinking of how many sets that person has, and he must have spent a lot of money on these sets. In some other topics on Brickpicker, from what I remember, he has like 100 41999 and still counting. Quote
