Numbered bags content help

I bought a Palace Cinema without box, just the sealed bags, baseplates and everything, but I noticed that one bag wasn't sealed, it seems that it was torned apart then someone put tape on it. This bag is one of the medium #2 bags, I'm looking at the other medium # 2 bag and they look almost the same, they dont have any rare parts, so I don't think it was teared apart because someone took pieces from it.

Any tips? I think the only way to know is to count the pieces and make them match with instruction booklet #2, but I'm not sure and its also too hard because the other #2 bags have smaller pieces (like those minibags with 1x1 pieces).

I found out how many bags are in the set and there are 8 #1 bags, 6 #2 bags, and 5 #3 bags. If you have 6 #2 bags I think you should be safe. I would double check it by counting all the pieces if you are willing to do so and you would like to build it. Here is a link to the number of bags. The 10232 Palace Cinema should be about 1/3 of the way down.

Thanks, I have exactly that number of bags, still what bothers me is that one bag isn't sealed and I need this set to sell it, so I find almost impossible to count all the pieces in the bags because of those minibags with smaller pieces.

I remember while building the Town Hall that there were quite a few bags that were identical and contained things like windows, regular bricks, and plates.  Are you planning on building the set, or selling it?  If you build it, than you could contact LEGO and ask for replacement parts.  If you are planning on selling it, than contact the person who sold you the set.  If the person can tell you why they opened the bag and if anything came out of the bag, than you can probably judge what you should do after that.  If he/she did not tell you that a bag was torn open, I'd return it.

That is the best idea to do IMO. If I had this set, I would build it just to see if all the pieces were there. If they weren't all there, I would try to bricklink the missing pieces if the cost is not to high for you.
