emazers
Be sure you ship it "Express Mail" No Exceptions.
justafrog
China is on the list of eligible countries for the Global Shipping Program - opt in, check the box on the sell your item form that says you offer GSP as your international shipping, and you are only responsible for getting the items safely and with tracking to Kentucky - eBay takes on the risk from there. I strongly recommend that all eBay sellers either educate themselves thoroughly on exactly how they will need to ship items internationally (including learning about tracking requirements, signature requirements, and insurance options) OR ship only through the Global Shipping Program where eBay takes all the non-U.S. risks. If you do elect to ship this yourself, you need to make sure there is tracking, signature required (that can be viewed online in case of a PayPal dispute), and insurance. I only ship internationally through the eBay GSP. I have now used it twice, and so far it's been great.
StarPod
What if the item sold before you enrolled yourself? how would you go about this. i just enrolled in it but i dont know how to apply or what on earth to do
justafrog
You can't do it retroactively after the sale. You can add it to your current listings by going into your account, going to shipping options, opting in to the global shipping program, and checking the box that says to apply it to all your active listings. When you list items in future, then just be sure the GSP box is checked on the selling form. For the one you sold, you'll either have to cancel the transaction and relist it with the GSP (letting your buyer know why, etc.) or take your chances and ship it under your own steam.
