@rtisan Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Best scam ever That`s what I thought too! "Here take my $xxxx.xx collection for $150 for the weekend, whilst you get high, and I`ll cross my fingers hoping that everything will be returned. Ya, ok. Quote
Diabolos80 Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 I wonder if they'd share the acid... Quote
justafrog Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Don't know what you're all worried about, looks like a great deal to me! What could possibly go wrong? Quote
comicblast Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Great deal! Whose up for going to a secluded cabin and taking hallucinogenic drugs! And of course, don't forget to bring your LEGO bricks! Don't worry. We're only putting acid on them. Of course nothing will happen to them! Quote
Diabolos80 Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 A lot of horror movies start like this. Some maniac or demon will show up and start building axes and machetes out of Lego... "Hold on, dozy teenager, just a few more bricks and this sledgehammer will be ready to do some mutilatin'. Don't go anywhere!" Quote
kerrmando Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Just stumbled upon that myself. Kinda funny. Quote
Bsusanka Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 I think they had already taken the acid when they conceived this idea Quote
nbaisfantastical Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 ...they could have just signed up for Pleygo to rent Legos. A little off-topic, but I found this post when searching for "renting" to see if anyone had commented on "Pleygo.com"--a site I just stumbled upon that apparently rents legos "Netflix" style....weird. There is a whole article about Pleygo.com on Brickpicker. Here is a link. Quote
StompingFreak Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 I always figured Craigslist was for picking up rough chicks, lean something new every day. Stomping Quote
sadowsk1 Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 Hm, not as much laugh factor as the missed connections. Oh well. Personal preference. No pun intended. Quote
