They did a line of sets that had fewer, larger pieces to a hit a younger age group (including Jack Stone) that didn't really catch on. Personally I think the Pirate line is rather nice. If you're on ebay I'd toss it up for a nice high buy-it-now and see if you get any bites. Right now there are none currently listed on the US ebay site. Only 5 total listed on Bricklink.com. I agree with akohns suggestion, give it a try on ebay and if you don`t get any bites (I`m sure you`ll get something) you can part out later.
