Dunno what it has to do with AA but the best hope for TLBM sets is a short shelf life. Penguin´s roller is an exclusive so it could be one that does OK.

Exclusive? You mean exclusive to all toy shops? I see it nearly everywhere I go. John Lewis and Smyths have tons of them on shelves and Amazon has them too. It's the best set of the theme and I will buy one to build, not to invest.

You should add that as a signature at the bottom of all your posts now :D

Don't worry, I'll think of something offensive appropriate.

Penguin's Roller is also a nice vehicle that may be sought after just for being a nice vehicle.

Agreed. My wife saw it in store the other day and made sure to mention that it's nice and we need to own it.

In the US, it's exclusive to Target.

After 6 years serving as a dust collector, I finally sold one!
This set has to be one of my all time worst investment picks.

LAME, It's a great set with excellent minifigs IMO. Maybe its time is coming still. I would have some (besides personal) myself but I didn't have my investment capital built enough to hold larger sets then.

How about 75059 Sandcrawler? It seems even worse for me. After eating dust for 6 years, I sold one that won't even cover the cost...

I still have fingers crossed good thing will happen with my BrickLink ADP sets. But for now, dust it is. Hasn't been 6 years but I've Even moved them to a harder to get to storage now.

I have some fond memories of this one building it with my little guy.  I dropped it down a full flight of stairs once so that was fun.

Horrible investment though.  I dumped a few to get rid of them years ago.  I still have my loose version somewhere...

I got rid of the one I set aside for personal build over the summer. Thankfully, it was one a BP’er had returned to Amazon and I pulled it out of AMZ Warehouse.

That’s the only way I made some decent coin on it.

I was happier to get rid of it than build it.
