mscheaf
Come on guys leave SOMETHING for BF weekend.
legone
Decided to not buy this. I just personally don't 'feel' this, and I am not into Superheros. If it performs well (which it will, probably) I won't feel bad since I've had my SSD, TH, R2D2, SC... Plus the risk of remakes. Among the current choices we still have ToO, TB, EEE, T1... Next year we will have the (supposedly) amazing helicarrier. That one I really like.
Sozial
Are u in the US? Nope. Germany, but he told me this is applicable for the whole EU.
Val-E
This one just seems to be vanishing from all shops but there are still quite a few knocking around cheap on EBAY. Is it done and what value could it reach by next Xmas?
Flemdog33
AA will vanish and people will chase this set just like all the other recent sets that vanished. Over 1,600 pieces, Batman theme, great box design and a decent build. I don't see it being less than $300 soon after it retires. Just my opinion but many have shied away from it for some reason. Crustybeaver
Oh-oh... is this a cryptic message? TLG are going to magically conjure up a new production run?
Sozial
at least in europe its done. my two orders got canceled and I called several stores and they got none left. If you are able to grab some, go and get em.
Flemdog33
I hope they conjure up a few more batches and probably will. I'm happy to buy a few more but I have a funny feeling once it's done the "wish I had a few of these sets" or "I should have seen the signs" will start and the AA thread will blow up. I've been doing this for less than a year but I for one am not waiting around with this set. Batman enthusiasts will drive the price imo. One thing I was told by someone I trust at this site is that Batman sets in the secondary market seldom fail and a set like this is a cut above other Batman sets! LegoManiacc
Tough to pass this up with the 2/2 promo and the polybag throw in...only way it could have been better was with 2x-3x pts, but I'm not complaining (much).
Deadfraggle
Do you think AA and the Bat Cave sets are better sold separately or do you plan to bundle them as a pair?
iahawks550
I'm bundling Batcave and Fun house.
LegoManiacc
I'll probably group Funhouse and Barrell Escape together..call it the "Toys R Us Immortality Bundle"
dubzero
This is the first set I can actually get ahead on, and I'm taking advantage.
tractorboy
How do you guys think the upcoming series of Batman movies (Affleck) will effect the performance of the last (Bale) series of sets?
meowsmeowsmeows
So, has anyone who recently ordered an Arkham Asylum received one with a date code later than 35R4? I've received one from Lego and one from amazon with that same code.
Alpinemaps
I've got one arriving today that I ordered last weekend. I will post the codes.
biniou
I didn't read all you post, just to say that my order from 22nd Nov. has been canceled.
dcdfan
How do you guys think the upcoming series of Batman movies (Affleck) will effect the performance of the last (Bale) series of sets? I'll prolly treat the Affleck's like I do the Michael Keaton's...they never happened.
exciter1
I'll prolly treat the Affleck's like I do the Michael Keaton's...they never happened. I thought it was the Kilmer and Clooney versions that never happened?
Ed Mack
I thought it was the Kilmer and Clooney versions that never happened? Right. The original Batman was OK to me.

meowsmeowsmeows
So the one I got today from LEGO Shop at Home was 20r4 Thanks. That is interesting because I ordered mine from Lego last Saturday and had the 35R4 code. So, AA hasn't yet been on backordered status (as far as I know) at Lego shop at home in the US as of recently, so are they continuing to clear out stock from earlier this year or is there another batch coming in December? I guess we'll find out...
