Guest eightbrick
Didn't Taj Mahal sales go boom thanks to David Beckham saying he enjoyed building it if I remember correctly?
Gondorian
Didn't Taj Mahal sales go boom thanks to David Beckham saying he enjoyed building it if I remember correctly? That's funny, because was just wondering what might happen if David Beckham made some statement about enjoying Lego. Sounds like it already happened then. Maybe when his daughter is old enough, he'll say something good about Lego Friends.
Guest idunno101
Didn't Taj Mahal sales go boom thanks to David Beckham saying he enjoyed building it if I remember correctly? Yeah here's a link for people that want an overview of what happened http://www.cnn.com/2010/LIVING/07/22/beckham.lego.sales/index.html Can't believe that his words made the sales for that set increase by over 600% on that day

Let me load up for dirt cheap first Now that you mention it, I seem to recall hearing something about the Indiana Jones line from Harrison Ford in an interview once upon a time...Perhaps my memory isn`t so good, but it rings a bell. justafrog
Guys, guys, guys... you didn't have to start a whole thread about me. I mean I'm flattered and all, but ... @rtisan
No, you're thinking of Quasimodo. Ah yes, that was it! I took a sec to search for this. Here is the article I remember seeing, but it wasn`t Lego at all. Nor was it during an interview. But it was Mr.Potato Head! Man I need to get my head checked. Sauromosis
Wonder what would happen if Miley Cyrus said she liked the friends line? If she had made that foam finger out of lego, it would have shattered almost immediately.
cvail8
Depends on your definition of "celebrity", I guess... but Ming Chen from AMC's "Comic Book Men" just posted a few pics of his Lego Delorean on Instagram the other day.

Bsusanka
James May from the British show Top Gear did an hour long special about lego. I seem to remember he stayed in the house for a day and it was made out of something like 5 million bricks.
