Noodlenut Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 It appears the new polybag continuing the "seasons" theme has been announced on Brickset! I'm pretty pleased with it and will probably get it. What are your thoughts on the "Thanksgiving Feast" polybag? Quote
willy431 Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Love it...but is that another sausage? How about croisants! Enough with the digestive track encased processed meats! Also....is that a butter churn? Quote
ufema Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 I'm not an experienced investor, but I'm working on it. I believe it will be a great investment polybag. The "friends" bedroom sets did very will. Buyers seem to enjoy anything that has to do with outfitting a room. A Thanksgiving table does well for that concept (even though it's not "Friends"). Is that a keg? Awesome if it is. 1 Quote
willy431 Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 My original thought was beer keg..but that can't be---wife said soap dispenser....so we compromised on butter churn. Butter is up an down...ice cream is rotary...thinking butter...but it could rotate and make ice cream. Mmm....fresh churned butter and hot dogs...thanksgiving like I remember. Wish they did a cute pilgrim couple and threw in a tonto. I would buy that...heavely. Quote
CelesAurivern Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Good lord, it has TWO cats in the set. Where can one get this? Quote
Anakinisvader Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Where are the pilgrims? Whats that? No native Americans either? How is this supposed to be authentic? Actually it is pretty cool. For more authenticity there needs to be a drunk uncle and someone coming out of the closet in front of the whole family. 2 Quote

The true thanksgiving, Canadian thanksgiving, has nothing to do with pilgrims*. You can even see the lady is sporting her patriotic red and white attire. Also, that explains the barrel of maple syrup. (Guys, I'm kidding. Put away the pitchforks. And the .45 justafrog. I'll come quietly.) Quote

Their little red solo cups are also included, but not pictured. Quote
TheOrcKing Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Cheapest way to get a turkey and a loaf of stale old bread. I like her dress top which looks like from a Castle/Kingdoms set of old.Reminded me (for some reason) of the greatest Thanksgiving family movie ever, Home for the Holidays.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qfNMsVdRmeU Quote
Noodlenut Posted September 18, 2013 Author Posted September 18, 2013 Good lord, it has TWO cats in the set. Where can one get this? This polybag is not out yet. My guess is that it will be available on October 1st. When it becomes available, it will be an exclusive, meaning that it will only be available from a Lego store, or shop.lego.com. Quote
ApesInCapes Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Hm, might pick one up for a turkey. Quote
exciter1 Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 If that's a keg, it will go nicely with my Friends: Heartlake Sorority House party theme. Quote
Legodad71 Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Gobble gobble gobble! Turkey is tasty. Quote
asharerin Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Any way to take the guys head off and attach that Turkey. I would prefer to make a Mr Bean Xmas special. 3 Quote
rcdb1984 Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 totally a keg, 1st thing that came to my mind. A butter churn? How much butter are you putting on that bread lol. If you want ice cream have the friends ice cream stand stop by, LoL. Quote
comicblast Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 I like it. Nice number of pieces, and his a fairly reasonable size. I especially like the variance of different food pieces that are included. AND, I think that it's a keg. You would think that TLG would have the decency to make a rubber mold and give us some mashed potatoes... Quote
boxofcorey Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Could be a beer keg. Or it could simply be that they fried that turkey that's on the table already. But the minifigs are a little too well dressed to be from the South. Quote
