graffiti600rr Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 I have a fellow investor that has had a bit of a hard time and needs to unload his collection. Is CL the best place. Ebay is no go because he needs the money soon. i am buying a bit from him today. He said he would return it all to the stores but is thre a place here where he can offer it up? He is doing cost on all of the pieces. Not trying to peddle wares, just asking. Quote

But he will probably have to take a pretty big loss to try and offload it all. Quote
Scissorino Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Sad times, but at least he has the assets. Not sure where to sell quickly, I think I'd always try eBay. Quote

justafrog Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 If he's looking to get his money back now and can return it, that's his best bet. Resellers are unlikely to pay him what he paid for them if he bought them all recently enough to return them to the stores. Quote
boxofcorey Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Isn't FC in Central-ish Florida? I'm sure he'd be more than willing to take some product of your friend's hands. Quote
segreto Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 He could do short term Ebay listings. I say a few Lego ones yesterday that were posted yesterday and ended last night. I think one was either Ringwraiths or a rare Star Wars mini... Anyway, with a 1 day listing, it could not hurt to try. Quote
sadowsk1 Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Ebay is actually quite a fast way to sell your items if you are pricing competitively but a person does have to put forth some effort. Quote
