DoNotInsertIntoMouth
Awesome! I bet this minifigure will have just as much EOL information as a regular employee!

Mos_Eisley
Why is the employee not in uniform? Maybe they wear something else in Europe, but here in the States I've never seen a store employee in all black. They wear tan pants, black shirt and a yellow apron. Will the Death Star finally retire?"Lego Store Employee Minifigure: "......"Why is the employee not in uniform? They wear tan pants, black shirt and a yellow apron.I was questioning that design choice as well. Also, look at the polybag itself. It is the same used for the Chase McCain preorder at Target last year which makes me think this is attached to something like a VIP card or giftcard perhaps. TheOrcKing
Now I understand the design choices. It is based on the Lego Shop-at-Home mascot (whatever his name is).
akohns
Me: "Hey Lego Store Employee minifigure! Will the Death Star finally retire?" Lego Store Employee Minifigure: "......" Does he have one of those little triangles in the blackish liquid with answer phrases on the back like a magic 8 ball?

Maybe they wear something else in Europe, but here in the States I've never seen a store employee in all black. They wear tan pants, black shirt and a yellow apron. That's what UK store staff wear. I heard it was for For Staff only as a marketing thank you for this years sells. Stomping

comicblast
Now I understand the design choices. It is based on the Lego Shop-at-Home mascot (whatever his name is). Interesting, but LEGO doesn't do enough with the minifigure to make it worth very much. For example, the LEGO Club Max polybag is actually worth something because Max plays a role in the magazines. To be honest, I wouldn't mind a Red Rabbit polybag from the DUPLO link...
Guest eightbrick
To be honest, I wouldn't mind a Red Rabbit polybag from the DUPLO link... Now I have a sudden desire to buy one of the Nesquik polys lol...
Scissorino
Yeah, that's UK uniform. A customer in the queue in front asked the store employee today if she got free Lego, she got a curt reply: no, not lego, no. (what do they get free, then?) so maybe this poly isn't a freebie for employees?
brickinfinite
Not sure if there's an existing post on this but I just received the exclusive LEGO Shop minifigure today with one my order. An enclosed note explained that the minifigure is a "thank you" gift in conjunction with the launch of the mobile site.
comicblast
Very cool. I remember seeing pictures of this polybag a little while back. I doubt this will be a high-demand polybag, just because the minifigure doesn't really have anything special about it. I'm guessing below $15 will be where it levels out at. MartinP
That looks really cool. I have seen that somewhere else on brickpicker. Thanks for sharing.
Quacs
I think you'll be lucky to get $15, but who knows? brickinfinite, did you use the mobile app to place the purchase?

I don't think they have an app. I think they've just configured their website to be compatible with the smaller screens of phones/mobile devices.
