ctoddlight
I recently bought a lot that included almost all of the parts for a set still sealed in the original bags. I would like to find a source for the other bags of parts so that I can package them together as a "new" set, but am not sure how to find someone selling in this manner. I am sure that people part the set out for sale on BrickLink, but I am not sure how to interrupt them in the process of parting out the set in order to get the full bags. Anyone have thoughts on methods to do this?
Mos_Eisley
Your best bet would be to make a wanted post on the BrickLink forums. The odds of coming across the particular bags you need any other way would be fairly low.
matt1147
Yes, I agree - you could get lucky and find the bags by searching eBay, but that would take a lot of time and may not ever come about
leaningjowler
Is there a way to tell what set a bag came from? Or a site that lists parts by bag for a given set? I have placed orders on BL before and had the same thing happen new bags come with the parts I need. Just wondering how people figure out what is in each bag. I have been buying and selling on BL for quite some time and never spend any time on the forums. At least it is worth a shot. Thanks for the input.
