So what are people buying to get their Mini VWs?

Hello folks, I have been on holiday for he last ten days so I have lost track of what's been going on.

I see the Mini VW buying is in full swing. So what are people buying?

I remember posting a list with my ideas, but I cannot remember what they were or where I posted it! Doh!!

Are the Winter sets for sale as yet? They had RRPs of

The new minecraft sets (1 of each) and 1 70400 for my castle army.  Ordered this twice to get 2 VW minis and maximize the limit of minecraft sets.

I went for 5x #850487 and a gold minifigures key chain. I really like the Halloween set, I have built up quite a stock of these! Will probably duplicate this order several times over the month.

This set goes perfect with the HH and even the VC. I've yet to get one put definitely plan to.

It's a great little set, with some nice minifigures. I think any set with a Zombie in will do very well EOL ;)

I have ordered about every new Star wars set. Get over 50 then add the Halloween set until I hit 75. Then part out the star wars sets. Working well so far.

I think at the beginning of the month, they were selling for about $20 new. Now I think there are selling for less.

emazers can get them from a guy down the road for $5 a pop. That is the price on the street LOL  ?

My star wars order is two hoth sets. 75014  I chose this set b/c I THINK it is exclusive to TRU and they (TRU) have it priced 20 bucks over retail.  I don't see TRU dropping the price much more than the retail of 49.99.  I'll have to hold these longer than I would like but they aren't that big and they are holding their price on ebay. (I'll prolly be stuck with these for like 2 years...which means they typically get given as gifts to the nephews.)  You could even do one of these sets and the the frigate poly bag.  Just make sure you spend 75 to get free shipping and the other poly bag too.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. They certainly don't seem all that interesting.  They are holding their price better than most other things for sale on the website. (Without parting sets out.) I didn't want to splurge on the ewok village yet.  If they are duds...I'll just give them to the nephews and write them off as gifts I have to buy at some point anyways.

I have sold 2 for $17 a piece (free shipping) so I made about $14 each after fees and everything.

It will be. Only people who will want it are people like me who want every star wars set.

I went for Rancor Pit ( $74.99) so I could get the mini VW as well as the clone trooper (after I had to point out that I would get both if I purchased online).

I've done a couple different orders of the new Minecrafts as well as the Star Wars Advent Calendars and another R2D2. I've got 6 different orders on the way. I think 3 also include the storm trooper polybag.
