Stopped in my walmart for grocery and swinged by the clearance isle and saw these on clearance marked down. Picked 4 goblin king for $55 and 4 mirkwood spiders for $16 (plus taxes off course). Not too sure on the goblin king as investment, as got them as early Christmas gifts. What do u guys think on 79010 for $55. Keep or wrap up for holiday gifts?

i want at least one but the set is a bit underwhelming. I would be tempted to buy in at $55 though

$55 seems good as an investment..but it may take a while for prices to go up. Also, it depends on how many more sets come out and if the figures change. 1 thing probably for sure is we won't see the Goblin King maxifig again. We may not even see more goblins until the final battle scenes come out, but even then it depends because of the changes the movie made from the book. (In the book, the goblin king returns to fight at the end, but the movie seems to be setting up Azog the Orc as the final villain.)
