Need help identifying 2 minifigures

Hey Guys/Gals-

 

I've been trying to find out what these minifigures without much success.

 

I went through the usual channel of checking Peeron, Brickset, etc. but I am stumped.

 

Any ideas or suggestion is most appreciated!

The guy on the right has this miner's torso.

....and this head with stubble and a smirk.

Guy on the right is Mandarin as Huskers just pointed out without hair and a beard.

You knew of the Mandarin minifigure which I did not. I only recognized the miner's torso and head from a couple of the sets I have built. I ended up too late finding the more specific miner here.

Only thing changed was his hair and he was given a star blaster for some reason.

I thought that was weird, but I instantly looked up the Mine sets to see what one was coming with guns! Alas, perhaps watching too much Jericho.
