chopstick
Do you think these two sets will retire at the same time as the other Hobbit sets or will they stick around longer since they are scenes from the upcoming movie in December 2013? Spartikis
doesnt really appear the hobbits sets are being retired at this moment, no big sales or discounts and are on shelves of most stores.

I know each region is unique but most of the Hobbit sets have been moved to clearance at Walmarts near me. Keep your eye out!

Alfiepops
I have bought them all the Hobbit sets already just in case. I was thinking of sending Lego a telling off letter saying: Dear Lego with all your millions and millions of Euro you make in profit each year, you simply don't care about the money. You would rather pay obscene massive amounts of cash to wicked employees to spent their time sitting in sound proof rooms trying to come up with ingenious ways to make Lego speculators have head melts at your evil little plans to EOL when so many are looking but no one is suspecting. You are a big toy company and you should know better. Go to the naughty corner and consider yourself told off. In future give everyone at least 12 months notice of your intentions. I and your competitors need to know. "need the info" I wonder if they will sit up and take heed?

I think An Unexpected Gathering will stick around for two years. A set that should go will be The Goblin King.
