Scissorino Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Not in the UK or seems. We get 1 or 2 pounds off at best. I love the sets, they really appeal as I'm into history and architecture but for me the price of these is too high, especially consider model size and piece count? Quote

DoNotInsertIntoMouth Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Ever check Ebay? at least in the US I see a lot of these. Quote
comicblast Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Ever check Ebay? at least in the US I see a lot of these. I actually rarely see Architecture sets in store. They are way more common online, where you can find them basically on any site selling anything LEGO related. They are great sets, and I especially like the boxes! I wish more sets came in boxes similar to the Architecture ones! Please, LEGO? Pretty please? Quote
Sauromosis Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 Toys R Us is a place where you can usually find them. Quote
Guest brickcrazyhouse Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 try selling the star wars series 4 to the US and end up with some free set (minus some work) Quote
stephen_rockefeller Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 Barnes and Noble is the best bet to find architecture sets. Quote
spener90 Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 My Target has them now. Showed up after the last reset. I'm looking to pick them up on clearance, especially since they are away from the actual Lego section. Quote
lowillsw Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 Sign up for Barnes and Noble and pounce when they send you a 20% off coupon. Also if you have a student ID it's another 10% off as well. 1 Quote

On top of your member ID And the 20%??? so 40% off? I will cry if thats true. I've never tried that I've only gotten 30% off with the membership and coupons. Quote

I've never tried that I've only gotten 30% off with the membership and coupons. They took the member coupon for 20% and the 10% off student discount for a compound discount of 28% off. If you have the credit card it's another 5% cash back. I just don't think there's check and balance in the till because the coupon states it cannot combine with other promotions and discounts. I've been told if you are a PA you can get that tax free on top of all that. Of course you'll need to bring that tax-exempt form with you (not sure what the IRS number is). Quote
Scissorino Posted September 28, 2013 Author Posted September 28, 2013 Barnes and Noble is in the US. Not sure there's enough money to be made on selling Series 4 SW planets to the US! A couple of the lesser-known architecture sets are one sale over here at the moment on Amazon. Quote
Sauromosis Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 My toys r us has Robie house for 180...not bad if combined with a second for Bogo. Quote
