Walmart (online only, most likely free shipping)

PlayValueToys (not sure if the 20% off promo is still on, but they have the Krusty Krab Adventures - unfortunately for above market value Just kidding with the new update it is worth more now - gogogo!)

What do you think of used 3825 krusty krab for $35?

I saw one in my area for about $35, but I passed. But, since you are in Canada, I think that it is an acceptable price for the set. You'd probably make at least $8-15 on it, depending on fees, price, etc.depending on you, that could either be good enough, or not worth the effort.

You could also wait for the set to potential rise in value. But the used sets don't go as high as the new sets most of the time.

Did anybody else see The Flying Dutchman as the first of these sets to disappear from stores? I could buy the others for a little while after that one was completely gone. Heck, I can still purchase for full retail at Kmart "Heroic Heroes of the Deep" and "Glove World". Must be a pirate thing, arrr!

So, Spongebob, sell or hold?

First I thought you were kidding, because here this theme is as a poor seller as Cars, it's sad.

But I see the CAGR is really not the same than in US for many sets of that theme:

http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/set.cfm?set=3817-1

(positive in US, negative in europe)

I'm a little surprised by the differences... ^^'

(no second degree in that serie here, only real dumb traduction with no double meanings)
