Any tips on how you worded the letter to Jeff? I have one case still pending where everything missing happened to be in one box that showed delivered.  Planning on a letter to Jeff soon.

I made it pretty detailed ( included tracking and weight info), outlining all the facts and my attempts to get the issue resolved through the proper channels. Also pointed out Amazon's own polices in regards to this kind of situation. Didn't mention that this particular FC is an issue nor that other sellers are having similar issues as I felt that might come out as an excuse rather than a fact.  It took about a week to receive an acknowledgement email and another week to get a resolution , so be patient.

Good luck.

I certainly feared the worst after an entire box out of a 4 box shipment went missing.  It was especially weird because I had received a "received in full" email.  A copy and paste of that email corrected the problem overnight after I waited a month to allow for reconciliation.  The end result was 1 item paid in cash and the other 14 immediately available to sell.  Not sure what I did right.  Now I am just waiting for a shipment that hasn't left the UPS warehouse in Florida after arriving Dec 22nd.  I can't seem to do anything since the order is still "receiving".

BWI for me also.  I was shocked when a shipment delivered on December 16th actually finished receiving this past weekend with only a couple errors.

Is UPS or FEDEX better for FBA shipments? I always see people dropping off FBA boxes in my local shipping center store that ships FEDEX but I never see anyone dropping off FBA boxes when I'm at the UPS office dropping off mine. I only go to UPS because they actually scan my packages and I have a record of it. The Fedex location I only drop off and leave.

From what I've shipped it's pretty close in cost. However I prefer to ship via FedEx over UPS.
When I drop off my packages at FedEx print & ship they always scan it if I ask.

FEDEX is cheaper and will get your box to the FC one day faster. They also have free pickups (provided you print your label from your Amazon account and don't use your own FEDEX account to print the label).

UPS will give you 1 year for free pickups when you make a new account (and yes you can make a new account each year).

Compared to your profit the difference is going to be negligible. Our FEDEX pickup guy is a complete lazy tool so we always go with UPS for small parcel and tip big at the end of the year. It really comes down to personal preference.

I got a refund request for item arrived too late as the reason. Order was last night though. I printed out the shipping label and never got to the post office lol. HOW IS THIS TOO LATE? Did customer just change mind? At this point I'm going to obviously refund customer, but does this hurt my metrics in any way since they are using the reason item arrived too late? Anything I can do about that. Appreciate any responses on this matter.

It will hurt your shipping metrics, since you're not shipping the product.  You may need to open a case to have them check into it, but they told me to not mark the item as shipped until after it's dropped off and scanned at the shipper.  This is kind of bogus now, since most shipments are mark shipped as soon as you print the label.

Thanks...so let me ask this. This is an 8 dollar item including shipping. Doesn't make me or break me. Shouldn't I just ship it and take the loss and avoid the hit? I do mostly fba now and very little fbm.

Just ask the customer to send you a cancellation request, always try this first. If you don't get a reply within couple of hours, just cancel the order (reason: customer request)

That would alleviate a shipping hit on your metrics.  I know it's a pain to think of it this way.

Just put together a shipment last night.  Went to complete it this AM and now 90% of the sets are tagged for removal with "Cannot be stickerless, commingled"!

Reentered the order.  Same thing.  I sure hope this is not there solution to all these missing inventory claims, but I sure hope it's a glitch.

Any else run into this issue?

Can’t u just sticker ?

no, that options is blocked.  They said that the change went into effect today, at this point the only work around is alt listings...  Here we go

I would encourage others to voice their concern with FBA.  They said that they will likely be tweaking it.

Funny that they officially endorsed this as an option.  It's not a good look for their marketplace to have all of these listings for a single product.

On another note, my case for the missing box that was delivered at the Baltimore warehouse on December 5 has been interesting.  I received an e-mail from a supervisor stating that the reimbursement was denied and a manual audit confirmed there were 0 units in a 30lb box.  They closed the case, so I reopened it with a phone call and talked to a very helpful rep who put together all the facts and a strongly worded reply to the reimbursement team to reopen the case for me.  Today I saw a jump in my inventory count and it looks like they finally resolved this in my favor.  I had to reprice some things quickly before they sold at lower prices that I had set 6 weeks ago.  Hopefully this resolution sticks.  Not sure if they actually found my inventory or took it from elsewhere.

The items from my missing box at the BWI warehouse were magically received today.  Boxes delivered on Dec 4th and the shipment was closed and auto investigated (basically saying that they received an empty box.) They had been giving me the runaround every time I reopened the case.  I had been ready to do my letter to Jeff, but luckily I don't have to worry about it now!

I live about 30 minutes from the BWI fulfillment center and has a shipment listed as delivered about 5 days ago. Nothing about being checked in or received yet. Four other shipments to other states have all been delivered, received and checked in since then that were sent after.

Maybe someone is finally figuring out that there was a major issue at BWI during Nov/Dec. Or maybe they just finally started digging out of their mess and found the black hole of missing boxes.

My guess is that inventory will transition to the Alt listing as a set retires and the 'official' listing will die.  The problem is that according to FBA CS, you won't be able to use 'LEGO' in the alt listing.  If this is enforced, that could create problem... knock-off commingled with authentic LEGO in the alt listings.
