That's not a train. That is the airport shuttle monorail part number 6399. Bring cash. The used value is $375!

I think so too. Here is a picture. (The set is from 1990 and is worth $375 U.S. dollars used and $1,027 new.) Buy that lot! :)

He called me back...done deal..took my cc info. He has some star wars from the same estate sale he is setting aside for my review. He is away from his store..but said they look newer than the display sets. He wants another 200 for those 6 sets and figures.

Why you do this to me? T_T

What a coincidence, I found this model at a flea market, the guy told me that he reserved the train for someone else (I was one hour late), he was asking 32$ dlls for it and showed me that it was working and everything. I was very curious because I have never seen that "train" and just for curiosity I was trying to find what model that was, I gave up and now im reading this :(.

Yeah, those are some seriously vintage sets, Willy. I was a kid and remember wanting the airport shuttle. I owned the airport and planes at one point. One of the boats (half in/half out of the first picture) is 4031 Firefighter that I also owned as a kid. Good looking set for its age, but not worth a lot.

Nice grab!

Not fair :(

I have yet to see any of the monorail sets in bulk lots in the UK.

But I did receive my first 6080 in a lot this week.

According the BP page for 6399, that set is worth $375 used in the US, but

I wonder who did. Wasn't me. Guy emailed me saying he refunded money as it was sold to cash buyer. I tried to call and email him and no answer. Called using my wifes phone and he picked right up... said someone emailed him that the lot was worth 500 and offered him 400 which he took....instead of our deal for 250. He said guy came all the way from ny. Snake. If it was someone on here..which I suspect...oh well....I learned my lesson. Enjoy it. I won't be posting my finds here anymore until they are in hand. I really doubt someone in ny is reading cape cod craigslist for bulk!

Lesson learned. I am pissed...but nothing I can about it...save cry.

Hello jerk!! Hope you are happy in Ny! Ill be watching ebay and brincklink for the sets.

Sorry, that really sucks. If it makes you feel better I missed a big lot in milwaukee just yesterday by a few minutes. Nothing as cool as that but some castle and stuff. The guy was cool enough to call me and let me know he sold it tho. Better luck next time!

That absolute crap man, but that's how it goes with CL. People are worthless and only see green. Why didn't you go pick it up right away?

On a related note, maybe look into laws in your state regarding deposits and if they have any legal standing. I have no idea, but since this was a company and you had a down payment I am not sure they can just up and sell to someone else.
