Is the Rebel A-Wing pilot still available in the US? I have not seen this polybag anywhere in the EU. I was really hoping we'd get it for force friday instead of the First Order General and Stormtrooper yet again.

I've only seen it as a give away at Legoland during their Star Wars weekend. They gave a lot away.

So far, the Rebel A-Wing pilot has only been seen three places - at LL California during Star Wars Days (one weekend in May), San Diego Comic Con, and LL Florida for SW Days (one weekend in September?).

Could be.  That's interesting to consider.  We've never really tracked a "Merlin exclusive" but I'm starting to believe there are some sets that are a Merlin exclusive, at least for a limited time.

As history has shown, it will probably show up elsewhere.

Yep.  I'm going to start tracking this.  I think there may be a "Merlin exclusive" window, and then those polybags show up elsewhere.  It seems to happen often enough.

Yes there is. Can vary in time but they do get a majority of them first and usually a few will stay exclusive for up to 3 months. Some wind up being longer.   The minifigure limited type ones will not always hit retail though as some are used for park promotions or entrance  giveaways in the case of discovery centers.   They'll ring up in system regardless but won't always be available to sell.  They get paid by the park end for them so either way they get a sale.

Polybags 30277 star destroyer I bought 2 from Walmart for 3.92 each. They had about 15 I was thinking of buying more. I'm not sure if their gonna do alright.

I can confirm what others have said about a coming glut of these. I just saw an end-cap display full at my Walmart.... maybe 60 or 100 in the display? It was a cardboard "Star Wars" display case, prestocked with these polybags... the kind that is probably shipped out to every Walmart.  I bought one for my son to build. That's it.

Yep, they were there as early as a month ago.

Walmart reportedly is starting to put out the holiday polybag displays. There are going to be tons of these for $3/2/1 after Christmas (I managed something like 60 bags last year for $2-1, which is incredible considering I'm in SoCal)
