New Lego store on Gurnee

I talked to the manager at the milwaukee location and they told me there is a store opening at Gurnee Mills on October. Sure enough we took the kids to rainforest cafe the other night and it's under construction now. Funny thing is one sign on the wall said opening 2011 and the other said opening 2013. I wonder which is correct.

Wow, what great news! That makes four Lego Stores in Chicagoland: Water Tower, Schaumburg, Orland Park, and now Gurnee. Good spot for one too. I may have to schedule a time to be one of the first in line for one of the giveaways. Anyone know the official opening date?

I found out about this on Saturday. Anyone have any familiarity with how th eplace is to Work for? I could use some employment, and I'd say I am qualified from both directions, retail and lego.

I just learned that it's opening at Gurnee. I'm pretty stoked since it's relatively within travel distance from where I live. Does anyone have further update as to when it's going to be open for business?

That's actually how I happened to find out that there's going to be one. I was hoping there may be more concrete information available.
