DoNotInsertIntoMouth Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Just got a confirmation from my first one including the clone. Weird that there would be a shortage of these since they can just clone them!!!!!! WOOOOO - Ill be here... well probably for a while. lol Quote
DoNotInsertIntoMouth Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 just got a confirmation of my second order with everything in it. hopefully shipped that way. lol Quote
Scissorino Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 No SW fig here in the UK, thankfully I don't care! Quote
OzGadget Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Just went to place an order for 10234 online, the default is to the US Lego site. Challenged it to the local site (Australia) and the screen says that the offer is not available. Quote
seapotato Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 I had the same problem with the Canadian site, with it saying offer not available. Weird. I put in my first order shipped to the US. Picked Rancor Pit and the Wolverine chopper set. Between the great yoyo.com discount and the new September promos, I've been spending quite a bit! Just went to place an order for 10234 online, the default is to the US Lego site. Challenged it to the local site (Australia) and the screen says that the offer is not available. Quote
seapotato Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 I started putting in other stuff in my cart - only the clone trooper shows up! I guess they are really enforcing the 1 per household for the mini camper.... *edit* nvm, I'm an idiot. I was short like 3 cents in my order lol. Quote
OzGadget Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 I stand corrected, Lego Australia IS offering the mini VW T2 van, so I've just placed the order for 10234, the Sydney Opera House! In other threads on this site, I mentioned I was going to buy the set from the real opera house but he offer of the promo poly bag and the cost of getting to the real opera house made it a simple choice. One thing I did notice is that the US site offers 319 VIP points, the AUS site offers 266 VIP points. Wonder why there's a difference? Quote
Scissorino Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Vip points are awarded one per dollar/pound aren't they? Are the prices different in us and Australia? Quote
OzGadget Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Vip points are awarded one per dollar/pound aren't they? Are the prices different in us and Australia? The prices are different, US $319 gives 319 VIP points. AUS $399 gives 266 VIP points. Hmmmmm Quote

DoNotInsertIntoMouth Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 All three of my orders seemed to go through. Lets see what happens though Quote
stackables Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Decided to go with 2 of the smaller star wars sets, the Halloween figure pack (on sale), and 3 series 11. I don't like buying star wars sets at retail but I can't pass up on freebies Quote
hepcatpunk Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 77.42 before tax, so getting both polys. May do another w/ just the R2, but not sure.---if it's really one per household, then I'll wait. Quote
beeblet65 Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Hello All - well the time has come, September first! and with a new month comes new Promos and this month, TLG has really out done themselves with two great promos of the Lego Clone Lieutenant and the VW Camper Van mini my question to you all is, what is the best way to hit that $75 mark and really get the best bang you your buck. as you have to spend over $50 in star wars to get the figure, i am interested to see what people say if one did NOT WANT TO SPEND MORE THAN $80 TOTAL! Thanks! Quote

seapotato Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Definitely not banned as this is my first order from LEGO Shop at Home! I only ordered rancor pit and wolverine showdown so two sets for $80. I did send it to those mail centres in the states though and was going to drive down and pick it up. Guess they want the canadians to pay canadian prices lol. So sad! Quote

Where in the states did u try to have it shipped to? Quote
Jackson Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 LEGO won't ship to any third-party shippers, not just Canadian-bound ones. LEGO is all about controlling regional pricing. Quote
