Are the old "Pat. Pending" Lego bricks from pre 1974 worth any more than the modern bricks

Hi, The question says it all really - I've just acquired some loose lego 2nd hand that all says 'Pat. Pending' on it. If I sold this loose, by the kg/lb for example should I expect a higher return compared to doing the same with modern bricks, or is it worth the same, or perhaps even less? (typically I can get about
