Mos_Eisley
It's never too early to start getting ready for a convention, right?! CVII was just announced to be taking place in Anaheim, CA April 16-19, 2015. LEGO generally goes to this so let the whining begin over the various exclusives they will have that won't be readily available to everyone else in the world. But seriously, Star Wars Celebrations are pretty cool and filled with exclusive items just like various Comic Cons. http://www.theforce.net/story/front/Star_Wars_Celebration_VII_Announced_At_CEII_Closing_Ceremonies_153455.asp
exciter1
I thought for sure it would be in Orlando again, since Disney bought the franchise. We've been to III, V, and VI, but California is quite the trip for us. I had tickets to CIV, but all my friends bailed on me.
Mos_Eisley
I think it makes more sense since Walt Disney Studios is out of Burbank and they'll surely have all kinds of stuff for the new movie at CVII.

wholovesboo
Also, Disneyland and Disney California Adventures are in Anaheim. As is Downtown Disney, which has its own Lego Store!!! Last time I was there, they had one of those large-scale builds of Beauty and the Beast and Buzz and Woody in front of the store, as well as a Maleficent dragon on the roof of a building nearby. Mos_Eisley
Also, Disneyland and Disney California Adventures are in Anaheim. As is Downtown Disney, which has its own Lego Store!!! To be fair, Orlando has all of these same things, except for CA Adventure, but they have way more other parks than Anaheim.
El Guapo
I don't know about Orlando, but the Anaheim convention center is right across the street from Disneyland is one of the largest convention centers on the west coast. So to me it makes a lot of sense....oh and it's 10 minutes from my house! Yay!

El Guapo
Just an FYI..Star Wars Celebration VII tickets are now on sale. Event will be in Anaheim in April of 2015 (so you should have some time to plan LOL). Might be fun for some people to make a trip to So Cal and visit that Lego Store in Downtown Disney or just make a family vacation out of it.
