Mos_Eisley Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 I didn't buy, sell or not buy these sets today so I figured they needed their own post. I thought I had a handle on my inventory, but I had to go get some sets from my parent's house and came across this box of fun. I thought I had a bunch of these somewhere but never saw them anywhere so I just figured I already sold them. It's kind of like finding a hundred dollar bill in your pocket. Quote
beeblet65 Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 i was re-arranging my lego's today, and found the Lego Duck - the 2011 employee gift. Completely forgot i had that! it is such a neat set, especially for only 92 pieces Quote
justafrog Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 I have the opposite problem. I could swear I bought 6 of the Captain America Avenging Cycles. I've parted out 3, I have two in the vault... where is number six?! I blame the cat. Quote

Instead, they'll just burn a hole in someone else's pocket.Man, that was the first Lego Batman set I purchased ever. Definately a personal favorite for that reason alone. Quote
DoNotInsertIntoMouth Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 I went up in my closet today and found the SW Frigate which was one my oldest purchases - I havent been investing too long. Lol Quote

Darth_Raichu Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 I found a 7065 Alien Mothership tucked in a corner one day. I promptly put it back. Maybe in 5 years I can re-discover it and finally get my investment back. Quote
chinothegeeko Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Just looked, found nothing. haha That is a nice rare find. Thanks for the reminder though for tracking inventory Quote

Guest eightbrick Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 I enviously await the day when my inventory grows big enough for me to forget about and then rediscover sets. It would be like picking up a candy wrapper off the ground and finding there are still a couple skittles inside Quote
sadowsk1 Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 It's advisable to most investors to keep better track of their inventory though, right? Quote
stephen_rockefeller Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 It's advisable to most investors to keep better track of their inventory though, right?ha ha ha right! But when you need a warehouse like ME does for his inventory, things might get misplaced from time to time. Quote
