Blackjack Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 I was just wondering if anyone has pics for this set. Quote
TheOrcKing Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Far as I know, still no actual images. About the closest thing is this 'guesstimate' shown on flickr user Ultron32's gallery. It was built by Smokebelch of Eurobricks using what Brickset has listed so far for inventory parts. Quote
Blackjack Posted April 7, 2013 Author Posted April 7, 2013 Even though I'm not a DC fan, I'm sorely tempted to change my avatar to one of these! #mustresist Quote
TheOrcKing Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Even though I'm not a DC fan, I'm sorely tempted to change my avatar to one of these! #mustresist Kinda like the second one. The first is neat but I'm getting a little tired of greyscale images absolutely void of color. I get the 'R' is red but the rest of it is rather blas Quote
TheOrcKing Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Hey everyone, we finally have an image for the Robin's Redbird Cycle polybag. I found this article on The Brick Fan and then came here and found that Veegs posted about it in the Canadian deals area. Here's the image for anyone who doesn't feel like venturing 'down south' for topics from 'up north'. A flickr user named smokebelch had posted this 'possible' MOC of what it could have looked like all the way back in January. I would say he came pretty darn close.>>Robin's Redbird Cycle by smokebelch, on Flickr Quote
weakside Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Any investors still have these free exclusive TRU (Canada) polybags? Search on ebay...currently bidding at $42 so appreciated nicely. Buy now is $61+. There was a mini flood of them for $20ish last month during the promo period. I have 3 polybags left and wished I got more during that promo. I'm sure some people did the 'shady' purchase-and-return thing but kept the polybag for easy flip. Quote
Rich B Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Never seen this polybag till now, man I'd love to get my hands on one, but $60+ is rough haha Quote
stephen_rockefeller Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Never seen this polybag till now, man I'd love to get my hands on one, but $60+ is rough hahaI'm sorry do we know you???? Ha!! Quote
jeff_14 Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Bought 2 at a Toronto Toys R US along with some discounted lego sets to qualify for them. Normally you can buy these sorts of sets outright for about $5 when they advertise them for free with the purchase of $35 worth of sets but they wouldn't let us do that in this case. Quote
weakside Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Good pick up especially with a sale Jeff_14. I tried to buy the bags just by itself for $4.99 but couldn't scan so no sale...this was maybe 2-3 wks back when the promo was over...I should of purchased Arkham Asylum and got at least 6 Robin polybags with my purchase - off set full CAN retail cost for sure I'm sure some stores that are not as busy still have these polybags just sitting there. Quote
weakside Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Was this available in US? As far as I know...it was only available in Canada. Quote
@rtisan Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 I got one. Bought a Captain America and a Metro. Showdown, so as to be as close to $30 as possible. It wasn`t $35 I don`t think, because I paid 17.99 and 15.99 for each. Quote
exciter1 Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 I'm hoping this gets a wider release later. I just want one for my son, since he keeps asking why Robin doesn't have a bike like Batman. Quote
TheOrcKing Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Never seen this polybag till now, man I'd love to get my hands on one, but $60+ is rough hahaMan alive, how have you been?! And where?! Quote
jeff_14 Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 I just sold it on ebay today for $57, all profit. Even if you assumed it would have been priced at $5 that's still a price gain of over 1000%, in one month!!! Quote

Even if you assumed it would have been priced at $5 that's still a price gain of over 1000%, in one month!!! awesome! i sold a couple at $30 when it first came out. Kinda wished I held onto it a bit longer but I guess you never know with these things. haha. Still holding onto 2 for bigger profits. Quote
exciter1 Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Well, can't believe I just paid $30 for this thing. Anything for the kiddo... Some guy has been selling them at $29.99 all morning. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=141062100561 Quote
Msudawgs56 Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Here is a deal. I know they will give it away later, but I do not have access to a store. Thought some of you may want to buy a few. http://www.ebay.com/itm/360764153540 Quote
arobert125 Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 The deal was in my local store too.....I picked up a few, one for my son's Christmas stocking! Quote
stephen_rockefeller Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Well that will kill the secondary market price! Quote
Jackson Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Well that will kill the secondary market price! How's that? Maybe I missed the news about this one. Was it supposed to be a free limited promo item or something? Quote
stephen_rockefeller Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 How's that? Maybe I missed the news about this one. Was it supposed to be a free limited promo item or something? For some reason it was going for crazy money on eBay a month or so ago. I thought I read somewhere it was TRU Canada exclusive. I saw it selling for 50-60 bucks on eBay. Quote
belljohn Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 You can buy direct from TRU with free shipping over $79. Palpatine's Arrest is on sale for retail price too. I decided to get one since I don't have any. This adds up to free shipping and a promotional minifigure pack with my Redbirds. Quote
