Blackjack Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 While cooking breakfast this morning, I remembered mine from last night. I'd been going through the Lego in Wal-Mart for abough a half hour, (it was obviously nothing like real Lego ) I went over to the CM bin, and it was accurately empty. As I was walking away, an employee came up and dumped a bunch of CM's in the bin, so I naturally went over to smoosh. I found a Sea Captain, but I don't remember anything else. Then in my dream, I remembered that the employee had dumped the figs from a plastic bag, and that therefore, I realized, there would be no Mr. ***. because of employee smooshing. Has anyone else had this level of LEGO realism in a dream? We need therepy... ;) Quote
oldsmobile Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 I haven't had a Lego dream in years, but the most common scenario involved me walking the aisles of a big-box store trying to put retired 1990s sets (Divers, Western, Castle, Imperial Armada, etc) into my cart before they disappeared into thin air. comicblast Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 I once dreamed that I found a 10179 in my basement. The box was soggy because we had a flood down there, but I was very happy. Then I woke up... LOL I have very few LEGO dreams to be honest, though after watching 5 episodes of SW the Clone Wars before going to bed, I was dreaming about the Jedi Temple once. A lot of times, I just forget what I dreamed about, so I might have had more LEGO related dreams. I don't know... Quote
whiteboy02 Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 I once had a Lego dream where I got a Lego set I really wanted, but then when I woke up it wasn't there, and I was pretty sad. So that was a pretty lame dream. Quote
Anakinisvader Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 I had a dream once that I was eating a gigantic white marshmallow LEGO and when I woke up I couldn't find my pillow. Quote

Diabolos80 Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 I've dreamt I had sets I dont have, too. I also have stoopid ebay dreams, like my page views doubled or I sold a set. Quote
comicblast Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 \I also have stoopid ebay dreams, like I sold a set. LOL. You made me drop my popsicle... Quote
TheOrcKing Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 I never had any kind of Lego dream specifically. Now I have had some funky ass dreams in the past. Oh boy, were they wierd.... They made Alice's trip through the looking glass look like a typical day. Quote
Sabrejimmy Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Does anyone else have dreams about finding amazing Lego deals? Last night I had a dream that I found a (dusty) sealed Millennium Falcon for only $9 in a thrift shop. A few months before that I had a dream that I found a sealed Mr. Gold and Chrome C3PO. Jackpot! The bad part about these dreams is waking up and realizing that it was all just...a dream. Quote
justafrog Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Ha, I had a lego nightmare a few nights ago. I dreamed that somehow we'd totally missed seeing that all our PAB cups were full of gooey, food-gummed, slobbered on, junky, beat up, chewed Lego. I am glad I won't be alone in the mental hospital. comicblast Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 I haven't really had LEGO dreams as of late, but an odd one were finding a PAB wall at Target. BTW, there's a similar thread here. Quote
TheOrcKing Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 I had a dream for a couple of nights where I was sitting here posting on BrickPicker, answering questions and looking stuff up.Wierd.... Quote
Anakinisvader Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 The stomach flu has been circulating in my family and I dreamed I was throwing up LEGO bricks. Funny thing is, they tasted good. Quote
akohns Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Mine always involve some amazing Craigslist score... then I always wake up... Quote
MartinP Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 My strangest Lego dream is that I found a MISB 10179 MF for $5 USD at a garage sale. That is very weird. Quote
spener90 Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 I had a dream a while ago that I walked into a random store in the middle of nowhere and they had all kinds of retired sets. In non lego dreams... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrPuOO2_Q44 Quote
M4x18 Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Just last week I told my wife that the night before I had a dream that I had found a Mr Gold. Then I got the disapproval stare . Quote
M4x18 Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 I actually can't figure if this another anecdote was actually a dream or something that I read here before going to bed. There was someone in a BP thread that claimed that everyone was trying to double their investments while he aimed to sell when the item would return something between 40-70% of profits. Scary stuff. colm9999 Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 I had a dream that I went into a lego store in my country. But there aren't any in my country Quote

Dinorider2600 Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 I had a dream lego Star Wars looked like the classic space theme Quote
M4x18 Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Nice insult Richard. Don't get me wrong, what I meant by 'Scary Stuff' was that I was unable to distinguish if that was a dream or it did happen. On a side note, if that ticked you off could be because it is your strategy, which I think it's completely valid and very smart. Quote

I now operate on a quicker rinse and repeat strategy. Quote
