therisingend
I thought we discussed previously that figs that were opened to verify their contents are still new. There's a whole thread on it here in the Minifigs section I believe.
trekgate502
Well I posted in the What did you sell today thread the other day about selling two AA's for $300 each on the same day to two different buyers. 120 transactions in January. All paid promptly. These two people did not pay for it. 36 hours later they still have not paid. They are not communicating with me. I'm actually hoping that they don't pay and I'll open unpaid buyer cases get my fees back and sit on them longer. Emazers is right I need to wait on these. But the temptation is like the dark side of the force to be like Duke & Duke "Sell Sell Sell" (for disclosure I was selling 2 of mine as I'm not a huge fan of it like Star Wars sets). Its nice but its not even like the Tumbler to me. My bet is neither pays. Next time I'll remember to turn on buyer must pay at time of purchase.

brickelements
I am not sure where else to ask this. I have done business with this seller in the past cathyhxxxxx..transaction went without a hitch. I was the buyer. I left positive feedback and I always pay immediately. However since that transaction I have been blocked by that seller. I can't even ask why I am blocked. I am absolutely clueless. I thought we had great communication and as I said both parties left positive feedback. Because I blocked I cannot send any messages asking why. This seller has a few items I would like to BIN...but I can't. Sure is frustrating. Any comments will be appreciated.

This seller has a few items I would like to BIN...but I can't. Sure is frustrating. Any comments will be appreciated. There's no point in wasting time worrying about it. Some sellers block if you ask any questions or certain questions before or after the sale. Some block if they think you're circumventing a block (even if you're not and it's mistaken identity). Some block as the above poster said if you resell their item. Some block in error. What you can't do: Use another I.D. to buy from them. That's circumventing the blocked bidder list and will get you sanctioned by eBay. You *might* be able to contact them from another i.d. and ask them for an explanation of the block. I don't know offhand where that falls in the rules, but they are under no obligation to explain it to you regardless. I wish eBay would simply hide a seller's listings from buyers who are on their blocked bidder list. Much easier and much friendlier than the error message that pops up letting you know you've been blocked.

brickelements
I guess they don't want my business. I have been a flawless buyer over the years...never missing a payment. As soon as I see I won an auction I pay immediately. BIN auctions get paid the moment I use the BIN button. As long as the description matches what is received I have never had any issues. Hmm. Oh well. I will have to use another buyer.

chinothegeeko
I would go with what kid88 said. There is a setting under "my preferences" I believe to do just what he stated. Or maybe she don't like your pirate booty
brickelements
Anything is possible. Why a seller doesn't actually want to sell their goods is beyond me... Oh well. If others in here have pirate ship parts (rigging *sails* other ship parts etc) and want to trade or sell via BP Classifieds please send me a PM. DoNotInsertIntoMouth
So fun story about the even worse decline of Ebay seller appreciation: I had a customer open a case saying their item was never delivered. The tracking shows delivered. It was a first class delivery, but shows delivered. I asked the buyer to talk to their local post office, find out if the carrier remembers delivering it, etc. The buyer instead decided to not say another word to me and send the case to Ebay. Ebay of course decides in their favor. The reasoning: I provided insufficient tracking. That is exactly what it said. SO: I appealed. Provided all the tracking, explaining that the buyer said nothing at all to me and could just be trying to keep the item. I provided tracking straight from the USPS website, info showing me deliver it to the carrier and the sales order from Ebay. Appeal denied: Insufficient tracking They refunded the buyer from my paypal account. I guess I just need to literally add signature confirmation to everything at this point. Migration
What was the $$$ amount? I Had a similar case about a week ago, $20 item, but I used eBay to purchase and print postage so they had everything already and found in my favor. mikemcd
Doesn't Paypal seller protection cover you if it shows delivered?
asharerin
Did you upload the tracking when you shipped the item? Does the tracking show delivered to your buyer's zip code within the stated time frame? If you can answer yes to all of those questions then in these situations you call ebay straight away and escalate the case and have them find in your favor while on the phone and block the buyer from being able to leave feedback or star bang you. I then add the buyer to my best friends list and then offer to help them out last.

hxckid88
Doesn't Paypal seller protection cover you if it shows delivered? Lol PayPal seller protection.... What's that? DoNotInsertIntoMouth
Something seems to be missing here. Did you respond to the case (providing the tracking), before it was decided in their favor? Yes I did. $22 item. I responded with the tracking both times - for the case and the appeal. jaisonline
for non-ebay sales... yes and no. for "lost" packages... if the sale over $750, you NEED signature confirmation. under that amount, you need acceptable tracking like UPS Ground, USPS Priority, etc... i usually require buyers to pay for signature confirmation anyway for amounts over $300 or so anyway. now if the buyer claims the stuff isn't as described, then it's in the hands of PayPal customer support. PayPal gives buyers 180 days for disputing transactions and 45 days for international ones. Doesn't Paypal seller protection cover you if it shows delivered? DoNotInsertIntoMouth
I also did ship it from Ebay - so the tracking was right in their system. I had another seller tell me today they didn't get something that shows delivered. Now that I know I wont be helped, kinda hard to not just replace it to keep from the negative feedback.
